almost anything can count as queer progress! It can be as simple as there being a pronouns option on social media, or as big as a government-created holiday! This blog collects all of them, no matter how miniscule you think the moment is.

Great idea for a blog! :) i have a submission and a small suggestion. Suggestion: enable anonymous asks, it can help people open up! Now for the submission, something Big:

On May 14th the first same-sex marriage got recognised in Poland, and soon after many others followed!

Note that this does not mean that you can get married here, BUT that does mean that same-sex marriages made abroad will have the same rights as the heteronormative marriages ^^ Up until now same-sex marriages made abroad were not recognised and had no rights in the light of law. It's HUGE news and hopefully more good news will follow! :)

not a recent thing by any means but last september (of 2024) i was doing a get to know you survey for school and i was happy enough to see a pronouns question from the woodworking/business teacher whos like 50 (i dont actually know im making up numbers). and THEN it was formatted like this

it was so nice 😭 they/them is pretty common to see around now but the acknowledgment of neopronouns made me smile
