“some people don’t deserve redemption” redemption isn’t something that’s deserved, it’s something someone does. it’s making the choice to change the way you live your life, to be better, to do good things instead of bad things and try to make up for the bad things. and everyone can and should do that, at any time, no matter what they’ve done. we can’t change the past, but we can choose what kind of person to be now and in the future. we have the responsibility to do so. it is so completely not about “deserving.”

Urzai isn't inheritly problematic if you ignore the comics actually. I think the problem is he isn't close to much people that isn't his biological family or his enemies besides like, Zhao, Michi, Ukano and Ursa, I believe.
Ty Lee is like instinctively manipulative...

Well, even ignoring her constant flattery of Azula (which Azula barely seems to even notice), in "The Beach" Ty Lee:
Acquires a ton of hanger ons even though she's not interested in any of them at all.
Takes advantage of their attraction to her to have them do stuff for her, most notably literally using one of them as a living sunshield.
Advices Azula that "Okay, look, if you want a boy to like you, [Close-up.] just look at him and smile a lot and laugh at everything he says even if it's not funny." Needless to say, this is a very manipulative approach to human relationships.
My song for Ty Lee is "Razzle Dazzle" from Chicago. I'm not gonna copy the lyrics here but trust me, it's perfect for her

Yeah, this is totally new, and she doesn't fly into his arms whenever she's happy and relieved to see his smiling face.
Thirdly, Katara doesn't care who witnesses her emotions. She'll call out Pakku's bs in front of the entire NWT court, she'll slide toward Aang on her knees– on volcanic sand– to bear hug him, she'll give a speech for imprisoned earthbenders... right in front of their oppressors.
She's passionate, she's expressive. Always has been. If not for her, the iceberg containing Aang might've remained frozen for another who-knows-how-many-decades, after all.
Denying her of the freedom and comfort to openly express her emotions (including joy, of all things) seems rather misogynistic, I can't lie.
And lastly, Zuko seems to hate receiving hugs, especially if they're sudden, but he doesn't mind giving them. I'm not saying he'd object to hugging, but to claim he'd openly welcome her sudden bear hugs is a huge stretch.
Sokka would probably be the only guy who could actually make Azula laugh foreal. Not like this. lol

We may not know where Tagah is, but we know what he's looking for is in the Spirit World. And lucky for us, we're stuck in the most spiritually charged place on the planet. So I may be able to open a portal to get us there, if I can summon an old friend.

Zuko Alone actually proved that Ozai is envy>pride ngl. I was conflicted what are his sins but his scenes proves his worse sin is envy. Pride is there but secondary.
