Messing with Major Tom. Worth it?
From her 2007 album The Deep Blue.
I reactivated my account because I was reminded of how amazing this video is ... and wanted to repost.

Teleman — Tangerine
A new video for Tangerine, off of Teleman’s latest album, Brilliant Sanity.
Metronomy — Old Skool
Here’s a video for Old Skool, a track off Metronomy’s new album, Summer 08.
Metronomy — Night Owl
Metronomy just released a video for Night Owl, a track from their brand new album, Summer 08.
Lowell — High Enough
Lowell has just released a new single, High Enough, from her upcoming EPÂ Part 1: PARIS YK, which comes out in August.
Kathryn Calder — New Millennium (Live, June 23, 2016)
Here’s a clip I shot of Kathryn Calder performing New Millennium at Copper Owl in Victoria last night. Kathryn has been rolling out her “new song” for more than three years now, pre-dating her last album. I hope she has some actual new tunes in the hopper, so we don’t have to wait another three years for her next release.
The Monkees — You Bring The Summer (Audio)
The Monkees (minus the late Davy Jones, of course) have pulled together their first new album in 20 years, called Good Times! They’re set to release it on May 27 and back it with a tour. This poppy track, You Bring The Summer, was unmistakably written by Andy Partridge of XTC.
Radiohead is the U2 of their generation
That’s not meant as a compliment.
I’m putting off listening to the new Tegan and Sara single, in the fear it sounds like anything from their last album.
Rae Corcoran — Lions (Live)
I have been delinquent and failed to post a new video released by Rayyyrae earlier this year. This is one of her older songs shot recently at The Attic in Kingston. I love Rae, like love love her, but you must know that by now.
Cate Le Bon — Crab Day (Short Film)
A few days ahead of releasing her new album, Cate Le Bon has given us a bizarre yet oddly compelling instrumental teaser. The short film, Crab Day, is a performance art tribute to the album of the same name, featuring music and dance, shot in Berlin.
Misty Miller — Girlfriend
Misty Miller has a new video out for Girlfriend, featured on her new album, The Whole Family Is Worried, which came out today! I was excited to grab a copy but it doesn’t appear to be available in Canada yet. :(
XTC - Easter Theatre
I can’t let Easter pass over without listening to this. (See what I did there?)
Easter Reblog!
Brad Neely - Bring The Gold
This goes out to the true Irish and every fool who drinks green beer tonight.
I guess it’s time to roll out the foul-mouthed asshole leprechaun again.
St. Patrick’s a queef!
There is nothing I look more forward to on St. Patrick’s Day every year than reblogging this video.
This is the best thing about March 17th.
Do you know what makes holidays special? The traditions!
I have two St. Patrick’s Day traditions: reblogging this video and avoiding the bars.
The Joy Formidable — The Last Thing On My Mind (NSFW)
The Joy Formidable have a new album, Hitch, coming out March 25th. The video for The Last Thing On My Mind, according to band frontwoman Ritzy, is an attempt to bring some diversity in sexual representation to music videos. “[It] follows a voyeuristic heterosexual female gaze (like my own) watching men in all forms, free, relaxed, sexy and objectified.”
For more, check out her article from the Guardian, Why music videos need more nude men.
Cate Le Bon — Wonderful
Happy Monday! Cate Le Bon has just given us a strange and wonderful video for Wonderful, the first single off her forthcoming album, Crab Day, which comes out April 15th.
