He nodded tiredly. “That honestly sounds amazing right now…” he sighs. “…and..just as long as the ring looks the same…it should be fine…I just don’t want my friend to be put through this…” he grimaced. “…believe it or not…that ring is an engagement one…..the Demon is making my friend marry him….” he leaned back in the chair. “….I wish I could just stop him…but, it’s my world…so it’s not my business…”

Umbra cringes to herself and from the backroom says"Thats more like hostage with legal papers.Glad marriage isnt a thing where i come from sheesh.“She soon gives Mugs a steaming cup of black tea.“Something to out you on your legs.Want sugar?”

He took the cup of tea and nodded. “Yes please…” he breathed in the steam of the tea, visibly relaxing. “Thank you Umbra……I just wish I could do more…” he looks at the tea worriedly. “…..H-How have you been? I’m sorry for just barging in on you like this…I…I’m sorry about all this…”

Umbra gave him the sugar bowl and a spoon.He pats his shoulder."Sometimes we are powerless in some situations.You cant be a jack-of-all-trades!"she says reasuringly."Ill fix you."At his question though she rubbed her neck"Eh stuff been fine with me and Chill.The job is easy enough.Not many wonder here in the day."she takes a chair and sits down across him."Hey.You have a life after all and stuff happen.I myself am not the kost out going type.Chill was the one to qonder everywhere…"she says a bit worried.

He pours a good amount of sugar into the tea before mixing it. "That's true...But that doesn't mean I still can't try to help...I feel useless otherwise." He looks away shyly. He listens carefully to the other. "I see....w-well...if you ever want company, you can always just come over to my home...I live at the very end of this Isle...it's the only house out there on the end near the sea cliff....it's hard to miss it.." he takes a sip, sighing happily, "Oh...that's so good.." he smiles. "Thank you Umbra..." he looks around. "Where is Chill?" he asks curiously.

You’re running, your breath heaving as you race among the trees of Isle I’s thick forest. You hadn’t looked for the shop in a few weeks, so right now you’re just taking guesses. You come to the clearing where you first found the shop, looking around frantically. “UMBRA!!! CHILL!!” You shout into the forest, trying to catch your breath. You had an emergency, one that you hoped the two shopkeepers could fix. “HELLO?!” You call out again, tiredly leaning against a tree.

It was a chilly night when Umbra started the night shift.Chill sleeping in the backroom while she made some last price checks but wass intrerupted by the shouts outside,worried she opens the door"Mugman?!“she asks worried"What happened to you?Come in!“The shop was dimly lit and only two dim lamps qhere giving light outside.The tinted windows didnt let much light out of the shop making it hard to find.

He jumped as he heard the familiar voice, going towards it until he saw his friend. “Umbra!” He ran up to her, entering the shop. “I-I’m…hah.” he huffed softly. “I’m so glad I found you…” he sighs, his breathing evening itself out. “I…I’m okay…I..I just need your help…” he reached into his pocket, pulling out what looked to be a handkerchief wrapped around something small. “I have this ring…” he wraps the object, and like he said there was a ring, a silver band with a purple gemstone set in it. If you looked closer, there was some demon script written on the inner part of the ring. It looks harmless, but in truth, it was a basically a ball and chain made to look beautiful. “…this ring…was forced on my friend by the devil…it’s basically an anchor….if you try to remove it it’s supposed to eat away at your very soul….luckily for him I was able to get it off of him without causing him harm…but, if they find out he removed it he’ll be killed….Umbra, I need help either making a replica without the same effect that it has on the one who wears it..” he spoke in a panic, trying to be clear about what was going on. “C-Can you help??”

Umbra lead him inside as she listened and sat him down on a chair.She picks up the ring studying it."I am not a jeweler unfortunatly.But i do know someone i can send this to…."she says tapping her chin."Nasty piece of work are ya?"she says to the ring.She looks at Mugs."When do you need it?”

He practically slumped into the chair as he sat down, sighing softly as the other spoke. "I need it done before tomorrow afternoon...My friend...he's not from here...you know? Different Dimensions and all that? He can't go back without it...and I don't want to send him back to the original...." he looks up at her sadly. "...how fast do you think your friend can do it? I know I'm asking for a miracle...but, I...I'm begging you here..."

First encounters

You were on a Job. You hadn’t had one in a month, so it was time to put some money in your purse. You entered the lavish Casino, dressed to the nines like you were there for fun, when in truth you were there to off some poor sap. Well, not some poor sap, you had been hired to off a man who had murdered a rich family’s heiress…the justice system hadn’t done it’s job so you were called…like always. You did have to admit though, it was rather lively here. Even so, you nonchalantly brush your hand over a chain of oddly matched pearls that hung around your neck. It looked like a normal necklace, but in truth it was a rosary, tucked into your dress rather strategically.

You walked into what looked like a lounge, a rather showy stage stood on one side of the room, you were looking for some help, maybe a waiter. Someone who looked like they knew what they were doing. For now all you could see were a bunch of really cute girls selling cigars and cigarettes. You decided to play the innocent card, looking lost always got you help. You walked up to the bar top, sitting yourself delicately onto a stool. “What’s a girl to do to get a drink around here?”

Sandra walked up to the stranger, “Hello, ma'am. I’m Sandra, I’ll be your server for the evening. Is there anything you would like to drink? Perhaps a cigarette or cigar?”

She pulled out a notepad and a pen as she put her tray under her arm.

Well hello, angelita~ “Oh my, what attentive servers…” she smiled up at the rather lovely waitress. “Well, Sandra…I’ll take a bottle of cognac, with a glass of course.” She laughs, her accent was rather thick, with Latin undertones. “Also, a cigar sounds lovely as well….but, before you bring me all that,….may I see the manager? I have some business with him…if you’d be so kind, Carñia.“ She adjusts her mink shrug, eyes staying locked with the other.

Sandra nodded as she fetched the drink and the cigar as well as her adoptive father. She came back and placed the drink on a small napkin and lit the cigar for the patron. "The manager is on his way, ma'am.” Soon Dice walked up to the patron. “How can I help you this evening, ma'am? I hope my daughter’s services is to your liking?”

Sandra walked away to continue serving drinks and cigars throughout the bar and casino. That was until, a drunk patron smacked her butt. He and his friends cackled and guffawed in amusement. “What a hottie~”

She sighs with annoyance, she might have to get Mango in a bit if they continue this act.

She watches Sandra as she works. Smiling happily when she returns. "Gracias, Señorita..." She takes few puffs of the cigar as the other lights it. As she leaves, you nod at the manager. "She's been everything and more" You laugh, taking another drag of the cigar. "But, reviews aside...I have a bit of a...request to ask of you and your Employer....Do you think we can go somewhere private?" Suddenly, you hear the small outburst of the men, your gray eyes darkening as they catcall. "...Pinche borracho..." she downs her drink. "You really should get your muscle to deal with men like that..." she eyes Dice almost angrily. "Never mind the privacy-" she gets up, and moves closer, whispering heatedly. "I'm here on a hit job....I'm letting you know I'll be as discreet as I possibly can, understood?" She pulls a photo from out of her dress, handing it to Dice. "This man is the one I'm looking for...if you want this to not be so ugly, you'll let me work...if not, it will get ugly....¿entendido?" She smiles. "And if you let me do this...I'll even get rid of that pig who just assaulted tu hija. Deal?" Her voice softened, almost sickeningly as she made the deal. "If you need to take it up with your employer, I can wait...but I won't wait forever, and I don't promise that the man over at the table will be safe..." She sits herself down again. "I don't like bullies....you understand, don't you?" She takes another drag and sighs as she blows out the smoke. "I hope to hear from you soon...Señor Dice..."
