I haven't updated you on my Tomodachi Life Island in a while, but there have been a lot of developments.
Stonathan is now married for 68 days, and they have three little nuggets at this point. At this pace, by the end of September, we should have all the six nuggets I'm aiming for, lol. Ronance and Argyle & Eddie (does this ship have a name?) moved out, so that Stonathan have enough place for all their kids to live under one roof with them.
Since I was busy recently, they're the only ones I really always check in on to make sure that they stay at soulmate level (I'm a bit paranoid because of their almost break up like 45 days ago😅). It's always so cute to see them interact and be totally romantic with each other and just be like 🥰🥰🥰🥰 when they interact, blushing and enjoying their time together.
Jonathan also won a price for his first movie today "The Lion and the Cicada Shell"😂 (Sometimes the weird news they show is spot on!)
Sentryagent is now also married, and they had a son, Jo, and Jo has a crush on Stonathan's son Alex, but Alex has a crush on Immo, who is Lumax' daughter. Immo likes Alex back, but neither has confessed, so I'm curious how this love triangle will develop.
And speaking of love triangle, there was the wildest development with Henderhop.
The last time I gave an update, Henderhop had just broken up, and both were moping and really sad. A while passed, and El fell in love with Nikki, but Nikki was in love with Dustin. Dustin had a crush on Samira, who is one of Stonathan's kids, which already was hilarious.
My goal was to have Samira fall in love with El to make it even more convoluted, but then Dustin fell out of love with Samira and in love with Nikki.
At some point El decided that she wanted to confess to Nikki, and they had this confession cut scene at the restaurant.
At first there was Leslie, who is one of Byler's sons, popping up to be like, "But I'm also in love with Nikki. She should choose me," and then also Dustin popped up to be all, "But it's me who loves Nikki more, and she should be with me."
In the end, Nikki chose Dustin, leaving El to be heartbroken again.
Some time passed. Nikki and Dustin weren't really that happy in their relationship, and I noticed that Dustin and El had this relationship status that they both wanted to reconcile. I actually thought if I said, "Yeah, go and reconcile," it would just have them back to being friends, but once I did do this, Dustin dumped Nikki to be with El again 😂
Anyway, after all this back and forth, Henderhop is now married.🥳
All the couples so far are doing fine, and I'm waiting for Matteo (Argyle's and Eddie's son) and Felix (Byler's oldest son) to have a kid so that we have the first grandparents on the island. They are married for 28 days now, so I think it shouldn't take that long anymore.
Jopper also got married and had a kid who is named Sara after Hopper's daughter.
New Stranger Things characters who moved to the island: Barb, Bob (who fell in love at first sight with John, that guy is a Bob-magnet lol) and Henry.
New MCU characters who moved on the island are Agatha, Billy, and Void.
(There were a lot of kids born in the meantime that I don't remember how many, and some I send away because aside from Stonathan I don't see any reason for them to have more than one or two.)
I consider setting Henry and Void up, since they are so similar in their "sending people into a maze of painful memories" shtick – they can haunt Tumblr Island together!
A lot of characters fought over the past weeks, and it's always so stressful to see the little angry thought bubble and them yelling at each other, but mostly I could fix the relationships. The only people who completely broke up their friendships are Nancy and Nikki and Jonathan and Hopper (I was so pissed at Hopper for cutting his step-son out of his life – the Byers + El & Hopper realized they were related once Jopper got married – that I had him eat banana peel and other disgusting stuff as punishment lol).
