On one hand, I get really annoyed when people say things like Daisuke is incompetent, Miyako is an asshole, or Iori is flat because they are so wrong and those are my babies you're talking about.

On the other hand, it's so easy to tell that these people haven't seen the original Japanese version of 02(and refuse to try to watch it or learn about the characters a different way like an analysis if they cant watch the subbed version), don't understand the characters even if they've seen it, or just don't like the characters which is fine but to misinterpret them so badly is hurtful but also a little funny because who are you talking about?

this Tomodachi island has actually inspired me to headcanon Hika and Taichi with curly hairr I wanna draw Hika so much now

Also Miya calls her Himinyan in this which i just think is really cute :3 Himi because the Hi from Hikari and the Mi from Yagami, and Nyan because it's a common Japanese suffix and means meow and like. I always associate Hika with cats because Tailmon so yea

I've heard that Takeru and/or Hikari would have been better leaders in 02, but never before have I heard 02 would have been better without them. I have now, and I just can't.

Besides the fact this person used the English names for the characters(which is a high tell) I just know this person has only ever seen the American English dub because they called both of them(and tailmon) the most stuck-up characters and said they were rude to Daisuke(none of which is true). I grew up on this English dub, and I don't understand how you can come to this conclusion.

As a massive Takeru and Hikari and 02 fan, I object to this so much because it is so wrong and please watch the Japanese version(which you can find for free with english subtitles on the internet archive) before saying stuff like this that make you sound stupid.

I swear, thinking 02 would have been better without Takeru and Hikari, so stupid

So this basically confirms Hitomi will most likely take on an important support role. My guess is that she will get her own Digimon partner later on.
