Today, is my daughter's 2nd day of (middle) school. They had an assignment...a "mini-background" type deal. This way everyone could learn more about each other. One section was that they had to choose two flags that represent them. She picked our home state and the PRIDE flag. She explained why (we celebrate PRIDE every year, we have family/friends who are Gay, and that our family STANDS for EQUALITY). She shared with everyone. She was he only one.
