Realistically, free college isn’t going to happen anytime soon. There I said it. It’s a nice thought, but it probably will not happen no matter who wins the election, so we can stop assuming it will now. We all know the answer deep down. Sorry bout your dreams. Here to crush them.

It’s really hard to lose someone who had a huge positive influence on everyone around them, especially when they took their own life. You notice the little things that happen and can’t help but wonder if they were watching over you.

Alex, I know we weren’t as close in recent years, but I’ll never forget our time together or all the laughs we had in high school classes. I think of you every day, and use this as an opportunity to make others aware of mental illness. I’ll try to be there for people more.

You were a great person Alex. I’m sad that you couldn’t see it for yourself. But everyone you ever met loved you so much. Never forget that.
