Why is it that I can’t look at myself in the mirror without crying or having a psychotic breakdown?

i have a goal

Alright, I don’t drive. I’m scared to drive. I’M A FKING SCAREDY CAT.

I rewatched Skins, and well, Emily, she drives a moped and it spoke to me, I can see myself driving this. I can see me and this in the future. 

So, well its March 1 and today I’ve decided that this is what im going to do. Im going to get my license, Im going to save and buy this moped and I am going to drive this baby ON MY OWN. 

9 years being scared of driving, but here i come mfker. 

I am so ready.

ok im real new at digital drawing but i did this using Krita im kind of impressed that i was able to do this. its a new style that just randomly came to me, i ve never been able to use colour (im a lead pencil line and shading kinda person), but i just kept drawing until i thought, yeah this is it. 

Its weird to see i could complete a digital drawing in a similar style to using paper and pen. i thought digital art was something i was incapable of, but i finally did it.

Miso Noodle Soup

Ingredients

**Prepare your vegetable as you like, I roughly chopped into 1/2 inch chunks**

1 Leek (white part)

1 Clove Garlic

1 Bunch Chard (Silverbeet)

2 Med Carrots

50g Buckwheat (Soba) Noodles

1/2 Cup Edamame (Soybeans)

1/4 Cup White Miso

1/2 Cup Shredded Chicken (optional)

Direction

Set a large pot over medium-low heat. Add oil and heat for 1 minute. Add leek and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally while preparing chard. Remove stalks and ribs from chard; set leaves aside. Coarsely chop stalks and ribs, and add to pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, 8 to 10 minutes.

Add 1L water to the pot. Increase heat, and bring to a boil. Add carrots, then reduce heat to simmer. Continue simmering until carrots are tender, about 10 minutes more. Meanwhile, bring a separate pot of water to a boil. Add buckwheat noodles, and cook until tender, about 3 minutes (do not cook in soup pot because they will soak up too much broth). Drain with a colander and run under cold water; set aside.

Coarsely chop reserved chard leaves, and add to soup along with edamame. Cook until just wilted, then quickly increase heat and bring the liquid to a boil. Remove 1 cup of boiling liquid, and swirl into a bowl with miso; set aside.

Add shredded chicken (if using) to pot; cook to heat through, about 2 minutes. Add noodles, and whisk miso mixture into soup.
