This is the past year of my hair journey! My hair has never been this long or healthy in my entire life! I can't believe it's been just over 2 years total I've been growing it. Can't wait to see how big the fro gets in the next year! Don't ever give up on your hair. These past two years have been full of bad hair days, single strand knots and failed twist outs. Growing kinky natural hair is hard, especially if you grew up getting relaxers. Just know that all the struggles are worth it 💕 #prettylittlefro

Growing up my mom always taught me that taking care of my hair was very important. Our hair was our glory and we needed to make sure it looked like it. When I was 19 and came home with a Mohawk she kinda freaked out. After cutting my hair multiple more times and now finally being 2 years natural I was fortunate enough to help her cut off the rest of her relaxed hair. Oh hiya 👋🏾 The closer and closer I get to finishing school the more I think about my future and I see PrettyLittleFro as my future. I love inspiring young girls to be exactly who they are. F* all the people telling you that you're not good enough or you need to conform to fit it! Being yourself is hard. Worries about whether or not someone will like you or if people will think you're weird can easily cloud your vision. My best advice to you and myself is to just go for it!
