i've seen kths lose their minds over jimin bagging major brand deals as an ambassador but never about the other members. in my earliest days as army i saw fans express annoyance at jimin joining in on jhope and taehyung playfully shooting each other with water in the soop. and almost every day without fail you'll find comments from armys trying to downplay jimin's talent, his intelligence and sometimes just his existence as a human being. you'll catch them trying to ot7ify everything related to him.

jimin is intelligent and has been reading books, it must be because he spends so much time with namjoon his genius has rubbed off on him, it must be namjoon making him read. he made a beautiful album, it must all be thanks to namjoon because namjoon made him change one line in a song, jimin has won an mtv award let's try to give the rest too (the same was never said when jk won it before), jimin's song hit 1billion streams let's make spotify playlists to give the rest of the members 1billion on their songs too (the same was never said when jk hit 1billion first), jimin had the highest peak on billboard and his streams are consistent, let's give the rest of bangtan the same energy, jimin nominated with another member, that member deserves it more because jimin already has all those many solo awards! a member is nominated in a major award event but no jimin to compete with, zero energy to try and win that award for that member (unless of course they get called out by pjms). funny how the narrative about certain members "deserving to win" is suddenly nonexistent when jimin isn't nominated

and then it's the "all the members are close to each other/talented/beautiful/funny" comments when the focus is about jimin. like just the tiniest bit of praise is somehow an attack against the rest of the members or something

I have also witnessed everything you said, all shippers and solos being in his business 24/7 dragging him for the most mundane things only for their fav to do the same or have already been done.

Armys have roles reserved for each member and they don't see specific members outside of what they have reserved for him. And in that jimin is the group's cheerleader so they won't see him anything more than that. And they also have some High standards for jimin where if he does something small he'll get dragged for it but if the same is done by other members no one will bat an eye. They'll only use jimin's talent when they wanna fight with other idols so they can set jm up and go offline. Some losers they are.

Shippers are just different kinds of breed and sometimes the similarities between army's delusion and shippers' delusion is similar cause then u remember most of the fandom army is consistent with cult shippers aka taekookers so they all move like one.

But when we said last year that armys are having this high energy during this AMA is because they're voting for Joon against jimin they said we're lying so what is this then? It wasn't about BTS against others for armys it was Namjoon against jimin and they wanted to win badly because they wanted to win over solos since jimin solos never backed down, called out all armys who didn't vote for jimin and made all strategies to vote for joon against jimin and Pjms stayed with jimin till last. Taekook Biggest ship of the Fandom army

Above all, this situation highlights just how much the fandom—ARMY—is filled with Taekookers. It just shows how the biggest part of the fandom is driven by them.

Imagine tweets of Taekook’s appearance on variety shows gets more engagement than BTS’s comeback announcements, tour announcements, or even music video releases. Fans seem to cheer the loudest over a misheard word or even the idea of their ship “kissing,” more than they do for the rest of the interview.

That said, the main point of this post is this: for years, Taekookers have been harassing Jimin, claiming that the company is pushing Jikook. But that argument doesn’t really hold up. Why would a company push a “ship” that isn’t even a fraction as large as Taekook? Why promote something that, according to them, the majority of the fandom doesn’t even support?

Their logic has never quite made sense. they always come up with new explanations to fit their narrative whenever things don’t go their way. Moving forward, whenever Taekookers claim that the company is pushing Jikook, ask yourself why would they do that, and for whom exactly—especially when Taekook is arguably the most prominent ship within the fandom and in k-pop?

Also, as taekookers claim that Jimin relies on fanservice or shipping to gain engagement and attention. However, this situation clearly shows otherwise. If anything, it shows that Taehyung and Jungkook tend to generate more engagement in unit-related content than their solo meanwhile jimin generates more on his solo compared to jikook.

Jimin’s solo posts often receive more engagement than posts involving Jungkook, which makes it evident that he doesn’t need any ship to maintain attention or popularity. His individual presence is strong enough on its own, without relying on any pairing or narrative.

To also anyone who's like "You're just jealous they're this loved", "Not our fault Taekook is so loved together in the fandom" or blah blah the point of this post itself is that. Taekook is the most loved ship of the fandom and it's Jungkook and taehyung who get more attention and engagement from their ship than jimin gets from jikook. Jimin gets more attention as a solo than his ships. Because, let's not fucking lie to each other, THERE ARE people in ALL shipping spaces THAT take this shit to heart and can't differentiate between reality and FAN FICTION.

I agree with you on that and I understand the sentiments, i have spent hrs explaining these same things to Armys that were defending her. I just came across people who said "jikookers do the exact same thing so they have no right to act like saint" so i thought maybe jikookers have done the same thing of publishing books and all using BTS's name, a specific ship and making one member they hate as the villain of the story in past years that i missed hence i was asking. Was going to comment but it was a little long so i just re logged.

Does anyone know how many jikook fic writers have published their books like this where taehyung is a villain? I remember another taekook fic writer has also published a taekook fic named "still with you" but as usual by changing the names of BTS members but of course the cover itself has jk's pic on it. She wanted to publish another fic where jimin again was the antagonist cause what a taekook fic if jimin is not the villain, so does anyone know how many jkkrs has published jikook books where taehyung is villain?

This kind of adds to the problem though, that it's one side against another, when the topic isn't just about shipping

the issue is bigger than that

because I could care less about shippers, I've made that point since day 1. THIS is about protecting BTS, and Jimin from ANYONE who perpetuates any kind of unprovoked hate.

If we keep thinking about "oh jkkr fic writers vs ktkr fic writers" then it continues to push a certain agenda

NO ONE should be depicting them as mean/evil/bullies PERIOD.

A while back there was a fic writer who's stories perpetuated the negative stereotypes that are often assumed about BTS; that Namjoon is just the clumsy one, that Jungkook is a fuck boy, that Jin is "the mom" of the group - a title he hates, that yoongi was cold and mean, - THESE stereotypes DO in fact play a part in the way some of the members are seen and thus it continues these toxic narratives that surround them. Its why it's so hard for us to break down those pre-conceived ideas that contribute to the lack of respect the members continue to get from their supposed "fans"

Because, let's not fucking lie to each other, THERE ARE people in ALL shipping spaces THAT take this shit to heart and can't differentiate between reality and FAN FICTION.

NO ONE should be profiting off of them, especially when that profit is FUNDED by hate

I also want to clarify that my reblog is not directed at the person who reblogged this, but my words are more geared towards a more general POV of how i don't agree with the narratives going around that support one shipping group being better than another shipping group. just wanted to make that very clear.

I agree with you on that and I understand the sentiments, i have spent hrs explaining these same things to Armys that were defending her. I just came across people who said "jikookers do the exact same thing so they have no right to act like saint" so i thought maybe jikookers have done the same thing of publishing books and all using BTS's name, a specific ship and making one member they hate as the villain of the story in past years that i missed hence i was asking. Was going to comment but it was a little long so i just re logged.

Hate the fact that soo many armys came to defend her, saying you should drag those people who commented and not the author, damn well shows how many are there for the artists they supposedly stan. Told me "Fanartists are the heart of the Fandom" but i thought the artists we stan came first before anything and anyone else but seems like some people are in the Fandom for just that. Disappointed that i had to explain these things not just to Tkkrs who were defending her but more armys than the Tkkrs. I'm sure 99% of people who were standing in that line of fansign call themselves armys.

Anyways, seems like jkkrs are yet to publish the book who knows about the future.

You know what pisses me off about this tkkr fan fic writer.

It’s the fact that she continues to ask for people to stop harassing her, and to leave her alone, and does interviews like this

AND YET

She doesn’t take accountability for her part in the hate she continues to perpetuate
