The lovely foster mom sent me a pic and an update about my rescue dog! She said she is feeling better today after a rough couple of days recovering from her spay surgery. My little dog is in higher spirits today, and so am I knowing that :D

When her ears are down she becomes a black lab!!!!! Hehehehe she’s perfect!!!

Dog update: Spay complete, time to recover. Coming home in one week, next Thursday! She’s in good hands with her foster family, but I know it’s tough to comfort a shepherd dog who’s not allowed to run.

I would like to introduce you to our soon-to-be new baby (adult) girl! We met her in person today, and we decided that she will be coming home with us soon!

From her pictures alone I was already feeling something, but meeting her in person today sealed the deal. She is just the sweetest, happiest little dog, so much energy, ready to be a puppy again after giving birth to a litter of puppies herself! My husband really loves her too, we’re so excited to bring her home!! She’s getting spayed on the 19th, and then I’m not sure how soon after that into her recovery they will let us take over, but I’m thinking she’s coming home if not this weekend, then sometime next week!!
