Remember, this hearing was being held during his Presidency, and the establishment was looking for any reason to remove him from power, her testimony, regardless of who else it implicated, would have been used, because like the current documents, names can and will be redacted.

No, the statement that they would have used any dirt on Trump is not idiotic, assuming they can't or won't think to redact documents however, is.
