One of the most under-rated, creative and innovative producers of 2013, Mr Carmack has just posted a new track to his SoundCloud under the genre of 'new computer'.  We can assume he's got some new toys to play with (in the form of gear) and in doing so, has brought one of the freshest edm infused hip hop beats we've heard. Having made this blog so close to the end of 2013, it's been super hard not being able to back-date it with lots of good music.  But on this occasion we're going to make an exception for this track because we feel, it's been somewhat overlooked.  It's up for free download too.  From LA-based producer 'Rags', we give you the Pennybirdrabbit - Treehouse remix.

Mojo - Feel

Mojo isn't someone we've heard much of, but when we stumbled across this track on Plastician's label 'TerrorRhythm's SoundCloud.  We were instantly struck by the potential this producer has to offer.  A dark, subtle and almost hauntingly future vibe which, for us, is almost burial-esque. Without trying to make comparisons, give this one a listen and make up your own mind.

Why are all of the unofficial remixes we've been clocking lately - the ones we love the most! Knytro - Status Quo

Knytro unveils his latest offering 'Status Quo', taken from his debut mixtape Project Haarpoon, which has accumulated over 10,000 downloads to date. Signed to MTA Records, Knytro's debut mixtape is undoubtedly turning heads with BBC Radio 1's 'Zane Lowe' quoting it as the 'best mixtape of the year'. When someone smashes onto the scene with a record deal with MTA records, we have now come to learn that- that is just something you can't ignore. 2014 is set to be a huge year for Knytro.

araabMUZIK – Ghost Story

araabMUZIK switches things up a bit with his latest release, going with a somewhat softer vibe on "Ghost Story." The track utilizes pieces from Jes Brieden’s "Ghost" number, as you can expect to find this particular song on araab's forthcoming For Professional Use Only II tape, along with other select releases from recent weeks.
