I looked at the sky in all its glory, long limbs of cloud reaching out, calling to us.

The clouds were burning, my heart was burning, and my eyes were burning too.

But your's, whilst in amazement, were still deep and cooling pools.

Now I wish I had walked into the blaze, let it consume me even more, let your healing water wash over my burnt skin.

I could do backstroke in your eyes forever.
