I'm sure everyone else already knows this, but my favorite voice is doing my favorite Marvel character! I just found out. I might just explode.

Is it wrong to request a cover of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love With You” by Thorin & Co.?
Asking for a friend.
Love them 😍❤️

Early stages of Thorin Oakenshield
I let Tiny Thorin pick the Coke bottles again, this year. You've got good eyes, Master Oakenshield.
“It is said that Thorin’s shield was cloven [during the battle of Azanulbizar] and he cast it away and he hewed off with his axe a branch of an oak and held it in his left hand to ward off the strokes of his foes, or to wield as a club. In this way he got his name.“ - Footnote from Appendix A in The Return of the King
"Richard did a little illustration, conceptualized the idea that if this branch had had such a significance in his survival, surely he, therefore, would give it mythology, would heirloom it, would hew it into a useable weapon, a useable form of defense.”- Richard Taylor

dwarfweek ⇾ day 4: favourite dwarf
Like one comment read, it is rather disappointing they didn’t use a dragon’s tooth, but 200 year-old walrus bone is pretty awesome, too. These guys are amazing!
Is the Hobbit fandom alive still? I need to know...for reasons
We wait in the Halls of Mandos, until the remaking of the World.
Bou is very ill, and Mr. Bou being the awesome husband that he is, decided that a Hobbit marathon was just the medicine I needed. As we get to the moment when Thorin does the “Stop, drop, and roll” maneuver to divest himself of his burning outer coat, the conversation goes like this:
MR. BOU: Amazing how his hair didn’t catch fire.
BOU (hoarsely): Especially with that majestic mane...
MR. BOU: Do you know you said that out loud?
BOU: Coughing. I was coughing.
Watch for WM’s #3 pick for my other badass anti-hero...hero... ( :/ )
Also, stay tuned for one of the outro clips.
I can’t say that I necessarily agree with their 3rd choice, for all the reasons that Hugh Jackman himself was once considered the wrong casting choice (height, build, etc.), but also for the reasons Mr. Jackman is hanging up the claws and cigar-chomping now. But I’m open to discussion on the topic.
Pros and Cons of Living with the Dwarves
Thorin Pros: -buys the best food -remembers when the bills are due -will do the dishes Cons: -his bedroom is cluttered as heck -he likes his space -he hates decorating for any holiday

A day may come when the longing lullaby of this song and the voices of Thorin and Company fail to stir my soul toward places far away, but it is not this day.
