Welcome, mortals, to this blog!! I am Thor Odinson, God of Thunder! It is always nice to meet little fans and new people, and always a pleasure to interact with my friends across the realms!!

I welcome you all to this roleplay/ask blog!! All are welcome here. I am still learning the ropes to these Midgardian technologies though, so I hope patience is on your side. I have been informed that many of you on this site need an inspirational thunder god to bring some more light to your days, so here I am! In my full glory!

Emilia had been quiet recently, distant. She made up excuses about studying or being tired and just hoped no one could see through her lies.

It just came out of nowhere. The mix of school and hero work was just overwhelming for her. She’s been thinking so much about her past, about how this wasn’t even meant to be her life. She was made to be a lab rat, and now she’s an adult and making big choices for herself and it’s just… confusing for her.

She decides to just go back to what she knows she’s good at. Fighting, combat, espionage. It’s what she was built for, it’s not something she has to think about. She’s been sneaking out at night, her suits and knives missing from the war room. She crawls up on the roof of the tower, like she’s looking for danger, looking for trouble.

There's someone else on the roof. Someone broad, with long flowing hair. He turns around as he hears Emilia and smiles. "Little Emilia, what are you doing up here?" He asks gently. He invites her to sit by him.

“Just patrolling” she lies with a small tense smile. She moves to sit next to him but she’s still on edge, still analysing the streets beneath them

"The streets are quiet. I'm looking at the sky." Thor replies. He looks back up, letting her sit near him. He reclines back onto his palms. "Very beautiful."

Emilia stood in the sea of reporters and photographers in the public areas of the tower she called her home. Today, Emilia was simply a journalism intern that had just been sent to the press conference where her teammates are speaking about the recent mission they were just on, not the Emilia that just helped the team on stage in front of her stop the world from getting blown up.

She stands towards the front slightly off to the side with her notepad ready to take notes. Her teammates taking the stage. They didn't know she was gonna be there. Hell, she didn't know she was gonna be there until about an hour ago.

She listens to the press conference as if she wasn't on that mission just the day before. Some details are slightly embellished for the sake of public image. She tries not to laugh. She takes notes and photos as the team says their final statement to the room of reporters.

Thor attempts to answer many of the questions, but he's not doing too great. The reporters are wording the questions oddly, and he clearly doesn't know how to respond to some of the questions. He's beginning to get uncomfortable, yet he keeps answering anyway. He's too polite, sometimes. He makes his final statement and leaves assuring that "The safety of Midgard will be ensured when the Avengers are involved."

Emilia notes down that quote before raising her hand, giving a more direct question for Thor. “Mr Thor sir! Should the public stay on alert or has the threat been dealt with by the avengers?” She knows the answer, she was in that meeting the day before

"I can confidently say that the threat has been dealt with by the Avengers." Thor replies. "I smited it myself."

Emilia nods with a smile, taking notes. Another journalist raises his hand. He seems less understanding about the situation “how are we even meant to trust you? How do we even know we’re safe and you’re not lying to us?”

"If I was lying, then the foes wouldn't be vanquished. We have saved all of New York and the entire world several times. Are we not trusted, despite having saved this city many times?" Thor asks, looking confused.

There’s murmurs across the crowd at his response. Emilia looks around confused too “what I think they’re saying is some people still feel unsafe considering how attacks on the city have increased” she explains

"We are doing all that we can. We usually are in close contact with other superheroes living in the area as well. We believe that some of them are preoccupied at the moment. But crime rates here are still extremely low compared to the rest of the country. You all are safe." Thor vows warmly.

Everyone claps at the statement, at his reassurance that everyone is safe. She takes notes. As the rest of the journalists start to file out of the tower, Emilia stays close, sitting on the floor and continuing to take notes, grateful that the tower security recognised her and let her stay

Thor walks over and squats down next to Emilia. "I like it when you interview me." He says. "It's nicer than the rest of the interviewers. They don't take their time with my words. They often ask for others because I sound far too formal."

Emilia smiles softly, looking up at Thor as she’s broken out of her focus “yeah that guy was super rude for no reason!” She says to Thor with a hint of frustration in her tone, but happy that he liked being interviewed by her “I should interview you more often!”

"I would enjoy that very much, little Emilia."

Emilia thinks for a moment before looking up a Thor again “do you think I might be able to do an exclusive interview with you?”

"I would not turn it down if you schedule an allotted time." Thor replies with a smile.

“Are you free later tonight? I’m home from my internship at about 6?”

"Aye, I will be free then."

“Cool” Emilia smiles widely, interrupted by one of the journalists outside, calling her name, looking for her “I’ll see you when I’m home yeah?” She offers a fist for a fist bump

Thor nods, smiling, and returns the first bump before rising to his feet again.

A few hours later, Emilia comes back from the tower. She looks exhausted, dumping her bad in the common room before slumping onto the couch
