For years I've seen a nonstop deluge of right wingers cracking jokes and cheering for the murders, suicides and oppression of vulnerable and marginalized groups. I've seen these same people laugh at the deaths of the other party. I've seen Charlie Kirk at every turn adamantly support the continued genocide of tens of thousands of fatherless children in Palestine. Not once do you express shame with going along with this rhetoric, a rhetoric that casually and willfully allows the continued slaughtering and induced hate crime of an innumerable number of people -- and yet you expect me to feel shame for being glad that the spewer of this vitriol is no more?

Do you have any advice on drawing bodies and proportions? This question goes for all body types because the way you draw all people is just so irresistible :3

thank you! i really recommend practicing drawing from life a lot, understanding foundational "rules" as you are able to observe them IRL. eventually you build a muscle memory which helps with drawing faster and more accurately even without references :) figure out what's believable and then break it as much as you want for fun!

my favorite art resources are Line of Action (for warmups and life drawing if you can't attend physical classes- which I ALWAYS prefer)- and the Morpho books by Michel Lauricella <3

My friend Ahmed from Gaza is 15 years old. He and his family live in a small, torn tent that does not protect them from the cold. They suffer from the terrifying sounds of bombing every day. Their situation worsens every day. They are suffering from starvation and eat only a small amount of unhealthy food. im in disbelief at the fact that a lot of folks are simply over palestine. like protests are dwindling down. people are not very interested in news related to gaza. some are simply over it.

israel hasn't let aid in gaza in 70 days. gaza has been starving for 70 days. the condition of people there is horrendous.

i find it distressing to think about children in gaza. how does one continue to have a childhood in a genocide? they don't have school. they don't have safety. they don't have food.

despite all this, the kids will be alright. they'll be alright once the genocide stops and they get back to 'normal'. till then, can we please try to support them however we can?

Penny- Garcias wife. spent her childhood trapped in a basement so she has very poor social skills, as friendly as she tries to be. the "Mrs Clown" to Garcias "Mr Clown" and they adore each other, he worries that she cant fully understand the ramifications of her helping him deal with any unruly kids he needs for the cult, but she does!! she just doesnt care. at all. Penny is friends with Michelle and they hang out at the library together

Elaine- Candy Dealers wife. has always been a total geek, loving comics and movies, and was bullied relentlessly for it. CD found her to be absolutely endearing in high school and kept her from being teased any further. she works a 12-6am shift as a nurse, usually in the infancy ward, writing elaborate comic fanfictions during breaks. shes usually seen napping on the couch while a shitty romcom is playing on the tv. shes not aware of what CD is doing for her own safety

Isabel- Johns wife. a yoga instructor, meditator, and online business owner. sells products akin to the company "goop" which promotes self help and wellness, which is kind of scammy. her sales skyrocketed after Hope went missing due to her dedicating 99% of her time to it as a means to cope and convince herself that shes able to process her grief in a normal, healthy way. she helps John in whatever way she can, but he seems hellbent on destroying himself from the inside out. its not ruining their relationship, but theyre clearly in a rough patch right now. he lets her cry on his shoulders when the facade finally breaks

Ronnie- Ignacios ex wife. loves the stars and the galaxy, 100% believes in aliens and ufos, shes the yin to Ignacios yang and contrasted his grumpy personality with her upbeat one. she divorced him after the loss of their kid and her current whereabouts are unknown. shes always been a sensitive soul and may hurt herself trying to fix others around her
