the hill i will gladly die on: taylor swift has not and will probably never peak. and its not because she’s good at topping her past projects. its because she never tries to repeat the success of her past projects. the woman never once uses the same recipe twice - she takes a handful of good things from her past and packs them up and moves on to a completely different playing field every time. when her last project and her current one are like comparing apples to oranges, there is no way to lose. the fandom and the media will always be comparing and ranking because that is just what humans do, but the fact of it is that taylor alison swift has never made anything comparable in her life.

Hey guys-

I’m posting my obligatory “nurse-in-mask” picture and taking this chance to remind you why quarantine is important. Self-isolation and social distancing is hard on everyone, no one is exempt from that. In particular, every night I’m seeing how hard it is on my patients. These people who have no immune system to speak of are working through their cancer diagnosis alone because the hospital currently cannot allow any visitors. The next time you think what you’re doing to help flatten the curve doesn’t matter, remember this: you’re staying home so I can stay healthy enough to continue to come to work and provide them with extensive medical care (as well as a good laugh because let’s face it, I’m hilarious). And most importantly, you’re staying home so their family members can stay healthy enough for them to be able to go home to. Quarantine SUCKS. But thank you for doing it, because what you are doing MATTERS. And it’s truly benefitting some of my most favorite people in the world.

Today is my bday 🥰💘 I’m 19 now. Time flies really fast. Yesterday I was a 13 y o girl who started to listen to Taylor Swift music and now I’m 19 and this music became EVERYTHING for me. I learned how to play the guitar and piano because of Taylor, I started to write songs instead of poems, I started to understand what I want from my life partly because of Taylor. I understood that I want to be a really good human, because Taylor Swift is.

My relatives know how many things Taylor brought in my life so they surprised me with this cake.
