grace doesnt look even vaguely surprised when rocky whips out the split arm tongue thingy. they probably spent the entire trip to adrian just showing off weird body parts to each other
i really really really love the idea of eridians hearing absolutely everything in a human body and being able to predict an episode of something, similarly to how medical alert service dogs can
I was rewatching DWIT and just realized that when Remus compares him and Roman to Cain and Abel he compares HIMSELF to Cain and ROMAN to Abel. Idk I always thought it was the other way around and that Remus compared himself to Abel.
uhhhh so hc that Roman it’s lwk scared that one day Remus with literally kill him to take his spot as creativity and like wear his skin or sm to earn Thomas’s approval. This fear gets even worse after DWIT and POT. Idk how Remus feels about all this since but he isn’t exactly doing anything to prove Roman wrong so

✦CHANCE AND HIS STRONG DOG MOTIFS✦
✦Let us get this out of the way first. It is not about the skin and if you are expecting anything other than hearbreaking, devastating angst, turn around while you still can.
✦First and most obvious, his entire relationship with iTrapped. Chance felt like iTrapped was a true friend, the closest he's ever had, someone who they could open up to fully, expose every single vulnerable part of themselves with full trust that iTrapped would never hurt them. This intense and unconditional, blind love an affection mirrors that of a dog's towards it's owner.
✦Chance gave and gave, never expecting anything back, never suspecting iTrapped to be using him, why would he? He's Chance's closest person(in my case, I view them as romantic), surely he'll feel the same way they do. Blindly trusting iTrapped just like a dog it's owner, afterall, iTrapped returned the affections, spent time with him, even if the feeling was colder, Chance merely chalked it up to the Cold Prince's nature. The owner fed the dog, it wasn't all that much food, nor was it the particularly tasty kind, but food is food and the dog only knows to love the owner for it.
✦Chance had always been an adrenaline junkie, a thrillseeker, always loving a good gamble. However, there had never been any mentions of them indulging in any games of Russuan Roulette or even any sort of life endangering gambles previous to iTrapped convincing them to play thouse rounds. With the level of care and affection Chance felt towards iTrapped, one can imagine that they'd never suggest him to play such a game, obviously not wanting him to die. So it should've already been a red flag when iTrapped insisted so much they played the game and even more when he kept insisting they kept playing more and more, especially when he himself never joined Chance and just stared spectantly. And yet, despite never having been forced to play Russian Roulette, Chance did so, ignoring the red flags the same way a dog blindly follows it's owner's commands even as said commands lead the dog to do something it may not particularly want to do.
✦Chance's lore says that iTrapped guided them both to a dark alley to stab him after the final Russian Roulette game while Chance was bragging about having won yet again and how lucky he always was. There would've been no need to clarify that iTrapped guided them into such place if that had been the path they took each time they got done with a game, therefore, Chance saw this change in routine, saw the dark place they were entering and still followed. Much like a dog will forever follow it's owner wherever they tell it to go, even if the place scares it.
✦Chance has confused and still continues to confuse Noob for iTrapped, the fact that Noob has not come out harmed or has anything negative to say about these instances combined with how close Chance was to iTrapped for so long leads me to believe that Chance still misses iTrapped and, if given the opportunity, would come back crawling to his feet. Because despite it all, Chance does not hate iTrapped, that's not who they are. They're loyal to a fault. Just like how a dog who's left abandoned at the side of the road will run and run, chasing after it's owner's car as it drives farther and father away.
✦Chance puts up a show of his best tricks yet, the way that he strikes a pose when aiming and shooting with his flintlock as well as the lines from his scrapped Makeship plushie advertisement painting a clear picture of him going above and beyond to put up a cocky, cool and confident faccade, a persona that isn't quite him but that everyone will desire to be around, a Chance that isn't exactly the real Chance so that while he still has people around, they can never trully get close to him and he can never again be hurt. Much like a dog abandoned by it's previous owner will develop separation anxiety and cry and howl whenever it's new owner leaves it alone for even a second, not wanting to be abandoned again and yet, still biting if the new owner's petting reminds it of it's orevious owner's a little too much.
✦My most sincere thanks for asking me to elaborate on my views and characterization of Chance. I trully do hold him dear to my heart. This will go into the x reader tag as well solely because it affects how I write his character for thouse and I will be including it at the very top of his section within the masterlist.

So basically, I imagine that postsaken (THEYRE ALL ALIVE AND WELL AND FRIENDS AND ATLEAST MILDLY HAPPY LET ME DREAMMMMM) 007 gets withdrawals form his gui. Even the small amount of times he had to use it in forsaken was like giving someone whos trying quit cigarettes a fresh box.
I imagine it’d start out small postsaken. Guiing a few snacks for cooly, maybe an extra dollar or two in his account, ykw it’s for c00lkidd it can’t be that bad…
But it gets worse overtime. Using it as a main mode of transport for himself- I deff imagine he wouldn’t want c00lkidd to get guied to school- using it to just. Get things without paying. C00lkidd does start to notice tho. And he’s not stupid. He knows his dad shouldn’t be hacking. But he’s 13-my postsaken hc age for him- what could he do?
So, one day, he goes and tells Elliot. And Elliot tells chance. And chance tells mafioso. Until it spirals into most if not all the survivors/killers knowing “007’s getting back into hacking, that’s not good, we should probably help”
Epic intervention, basically a “yo dude don’t hack that’s ass” and a “but it’s just for small things” and a “yeah, but your literally commuting theft(idk) with it too” and a maybe a bit of Noli being like “broski it was just ‘a little hacking’ when we first met too, but then do u see what happened?”
Big boom, angst, yippie, happy ending 💖💖💖
Also side note I hc Noli didn’t become a god until he grabbed the void star, then some weird timeline shit happens with like a time paradox of “wow I grabbed the funny magic star and now I’m an ancient god that’s existed for eons but also I’m just a college kid who’s been given immense power and went through a reality shifting change”

You ever notice how Virgil has a really different voice pre AA? It's insane. He's the only character to change that drastically. I understand he was masking, but it's hard to drop a mask as quickly as he did. That *incorrect quote* where he goes "... Is what I would've said before I got accepted" is the one and only time he's slipped up at all and it's not even canon. Suspicious... It makes me think about how he has a lot harder of a time scaring Thomas and the others.
It's like he lost a bit of power. Virgil is weird in rhe fact that he's both the anxiety and the anxiet-ee, right? Those two seem pretty conflicting though, and Thomas and the light sides definitely like him better when he's more the latter.
What if bro split. What if Virgil split because the him that Thomas and the light sides like better is the one that isn't the one saying mean thoughts because he doesn't want to bring the mood down. (Even though that's what Anxiety is supposed to do) because if he brought the mood down rather than just also experiencing it he'd be evil.
(Also the whole Virgillious thing. Hey Virge what happened to the other half of your name? Does somebody else have it?)

Iris’s quote is “it IS that symbol” not “what is that symbol”
What symbol? Unofficial wiki say spawn. Everyone else I see is in agreement this is likely the symbol tied to Phosphorus, it’s not a hard inference to make. The spawn symbol is all over the reborn family abode. For clarity there’s a solid case she’d call it by an identifiable name if this was the symbol of spawn. What kills her? PHOSPHORUS. Phosphorus’s greedy hands are all over this plot. We’ve all accepted him as the culprit. He’s also the reason Aspen is reborn as Azure at all. Confirming he is on the scene of the crime.
Who is Iris also LOOSELY connected to? Nosferatu of course. There was a #vampire in there. WHAT IS NOSFERATU CONNECTED TO? PHOSPHORUS OF COURSE. Nosferatu and Azure wear Phosphorus’s symbol boldly and in the open they’re under his management these are Phosphorus’s projects.
It being the Phosphorus symbol is the most obvious path and follows sound logic. And iris RECOGNIZES IT, she addresses it with familiarity and an urgency to capture evidence of it that cuts her own life short.
I’m sure the fact she recognizes it is why people jumped to spawn as the symbol. Iris is an investigator, this isn’t her first case, if she knows Phosphorus’s signs we are not done with Iris by a mile. If she has this direct of a link to Phosphorus, some prior experience that lets her know this mystery symbol, she could be gearing up to be VERY vital to the overarching Phosphorus plot. And for a character we won’t see in game for a while we can glimpse a LOT of knowledge about Phosphorus.
Phosphorus is known as an agent to the realm’s operator The Spectre as opposed to a pawn and Phosphorus is responsible for the creation and empowerment of many killers in the realm all marked with his symbol like a watermark.
This puts him in a HIGH position, possibly even a right hand to a Spectre, strong enough to control and change CREATE some of the realms strongest forces and scout new killers LIKE AZURE for his work
He has free will, he can call some shots, and he seems to have a trail of bread crumbs iris followed where he then dealt with her when she knew too much.
Again as Iris says it IS that symbol. She needs to get a picture. Like she has something deeper to prove than just this oddity, like it means something to her. How important IS Iris?
If Jane is our lorekeeper into the admins and The Spectre’s corruption, is Iris our protagonist to the broader creations and impact of Phosphorus? IS THAT WHERE WE’RE HEADING? AM I JUST LOSING MY MIND OVER THIS #LOBBYNPC? WILL PEOPLE BURN ME LIKE A WITCH JUST LIKE WHEN I SAID THE DETECTIVE IN THE FIRST ENTRY ON ASPENS LAST BREATH WAS IRIS EVEN THOUGH I WAS LATER PROVEN WAS RIGHT?
