Appreciation for dumb monsters - they might look terrifying, but they never quite know what’s going on. You have to explain it to them a few times, and they nod enthusiastically before telling you that they still don’t understand.

Appreciation for happy monsters - don’t let their snarling fangs and menacing features decieve you, they are delighted to see you and they hope you’ve had a wonderful day.

Appreciation for lazy monsters. Sure, they are a predator and you are their prey, but wouldn’t it be easier if you just cuddled up and watched netflix?
