Is it weird that I get the urge to thank fanfic authors whenever I leave a comment? Especially when I’m commenting on every chapter of a multi-chapter fic like, I have to restrain myself from thanking them for just writing their heart out

if it helps, I don’t think anyone would mind you doing that :)

(they might feel the same way you do about always saying you’re welcome, but that’s the only thing I could think of)

The first time someone thanked me for one of my fics, I was surprised, because I thought I was the one who was grateful for people leaving comments on my story. But now, sometimes I thank authors, too, because it is a gift to be able to read a well-written, fun story about the characters I love and who will never have those things happen to them in canon.

Receiving a thank you from a reader lets us know that our work was appreciated, and it makes me fell all warm and fuzzy inside when someone tells me how my fanfic helped them cope with RL issues. It’s one of the most rewarding things about sharing fics with others. So, I don’t think you need to restrain yourself from thanking those authors. I’m pretty sure it will make them happy to know that they brought something good into your life. :)

Is there anyone might be interested in Grimmhime fanfiction in 2025?

I shipped Grimmhime since I read the part of they meet. But at that time I'm too young to create a satisfying fanfiction.

Now it's 2025. After getting inspiration for my creative work, I noticed this pairing seems to have faded from the public eye. Creating alone with little feedback makes me feel somewhat isolated, so I'm venturing to post this to see if there might still be people who appreciate Grimmhime.
