Im grateful for not being in the hospital

That I protected my head when I was sent flying

That my glasses didn’t shatter upon impact

That I took the hit to my side and not my legs

The drivers who got out to check on me

The older woman in the colorful fleece who held my hand as she assisted me to the curbside

The film institute worker who offered to keep an eye on me

The EMTs who cleared me

My roommate who is there always

I have a feeling if I wasn’t so white passing, I wouldn’t have been treated this nicely

When I was 9 I was in a different car accident and the EMTs treated my dad badly when they thought he couldn’t speak English

The cop handed me a yellow slip, “you should get a citation, but I’m letting you go”

I’m grateful to not be in the hospital where most of my friends have been sent, they don’t care about you if you’re not white

Now I just have to worry about telling my parents that I walked into traffic while trying to get to work

I really love playing cards, so I’m designing my own deck for One Piece. If there is interest, I might start selling postcards and eventually the full deck if there is demand (and I figure out the remaining 3 suits). I’ve made one suit by hand, but it takes hours to make cards by hand. If people are interested, lemme know so I can look into more efficient methods

Howdy y'all! As some of you may know, I have recently resigned from my position as a medical biller/coder to pursue my bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine. I have since been accepted into a private university and I begin in the Fall! As excited as I am for this new chapter in my life, I am not excited about tuition hhhh so I am opening up commissions to help pay even for books and supplies.

I will be opening up 5 slots to start off with and will open more slots when I get into the swing of things!
