Wild and extraverted Veldy is the ninth group leader of Bigacorp’s Azure Division. An unaugmented pilot, she climbed the ranks from Bigacorp’s rank-and-file, Although her natural aptitude is nothing to brag about (though she does so anyway with dry sarcasm,) her participation in Bigacorp’s FAIRFORT design program, based on salvaged RRI technology from the waning days of the Institute, paved the way for other regular humans to develop top-level combat ability.

Veldy’s fluid and flexible approach to combat is assisted by her AC’s newly developed systems. PIXIE REDOUBT, a white, pink, and blue lightweight reverse-joint model with auxiliary boosters, is the first in a line of ACs designed to interpret the actuation translation capabilities of unaugmented human movements on-the-fly, enabling reaction times on par with seventh-generation augmented humans.

Despite appearances, she has no connection to SHADOWMIND; such similarities to the interfacing avatar used by the Ision War-era mercenary support system are purely coincidental and totally not attributable to an external source material.

Ninth group leader of Bigacorp’s Crimson Division, ruthless reaper Jawd is a former independent, infamous for his time with the Shadows mercenary group based out of neighboring Raficon VI. The cunning Shadows specialized in assisting with the removal of “undesirable elements” for clients who needed to keep their hands clean; in other words, subcontracted mechanical muscle for corporate assassins who couldn’t do the job alone. The group was active during the early days of the Ision War but mysteriously ceased operations several years in, possibly due to an ever-increasing POE presence on Raficon.

Jawd pilots a heavy tetrapod, SOUL HUNTER, with a handheld howitzer and pulse shield, along with a pair of heavy auxiliary boosters. Although lightly armed for its weight class, it is additionally equipped with a stealth generator that enables explosive ambushes when the howitzer is savagely unleashed upon an unwitting target from behind. The pulse shield serves to protect Jawd from harm, whereas the sizable boosters enable a quick getaway; SOUL HUNTER’s high frame durability additionally mitigates reactionary retaliation by the enemy that might otherwise cripple a lightweight AC.

VT-D Meister (GIGGS DnD Mister Wizard)

Meister is the long-range sharpshot specialist of the Vert Corps, utilizing a verdantly green middleweight biped - noticeably the tallest in the lineup.

The storied Meister is one of the founders of Bigacorp, claiming to have established the corporation over a century and a half prior to the second Ision War (while Bigacorp is indeed that old, this claim of him being among its founders it is somewhat doubtful given the hard limits on unaugmented humans’ lifespans. RLA intel suggests that it was in fact Meister’s great-grandfather by the exact same name who was responsible for Bigacorp’s inception.)

Aging, he chose integration into a combat AC over being six feet under - nobody was one to argue with that, though a somewhat clumsy and absentminded 22-meter mecha is not something most would want to be in the vicinity of. Accordingly, his AC, WHEELBEAM, is green-everything, down to the blasts from various forms of compound rifles and shotguns, Ision-based missiles, guided Ision beams, and even its xenotech generator’s exhaust trail. In contrast to the other members of the Vert Corps, he is completely lacking in close-range engagement options and does not possess as great a degree of maneuverability, but WHEELBEAM’s overwhelming firepower is typically sufficient to ward off enemies nonetheless.

Meister’s advanced age at the time of integration, however, seems to have opened up some eccentricities. He has a tendency to broadcast his intended attacks on an open channel (though the names for such tend to vary substantially, making them a misleading and unreliable indicator for anticipating his moves.)

Additionally, despite appearances and similarities in their names, he is not at all related to former Ciphers 4th group leader and now-RLA second-in-command Scard Ford-Lafayette, a source of confusion on more than one occasion for the latter. The two are completely separate individuals and actually have absolutely nothing to do with each other, a phenomenon also conspicuously present with the other members of the Vert Corps - whose interfacing avatars (based on their appearances when still human) all bear a passing resemblance to other Armored Core pilots currently or previously known to have operated on Raficon 7.
