I read Hana Yori Dango at the beginning of the year and ohhhh I loved it so much (232 manga chapters in 3 days 🤭🤭) These are some Tsukasa sketches I did, expression study (basically redraws of manga panels) and then more drawings of him but getting a little carried away with my mental image of him 🫢
Hopefully the 4 remaining HanaDan fans somehow find this post lmao ♡♡♡
Hi guys, you can also follow me on X now @dkatard

Antis: ghoulcy shippers are villainizing barb cuz it gets in the way of their ship and they’re racist
Meanwhile in the Ghoulcy tag: Barb is so cool! Corporate baddie! We love a girl boss villain with complexity! So glad this episode gave us more insight into her character.
90/00s Wyler anyone?
Like, imagine Wyler with Christina Ricci’s Wednesday! Ugg 🫠
And I was like who’s Christina’s age who gives Tyler vibes?
And this is what I came up with …🥁🥁🥁
I do love Wyler and Tyler but I do not like it when Wednesday's side of things is brushed aside as just a bruised ego and or superficial hurt when if you pay even a fraction of the attention to her character that Tyler stans pay to his it is so so so obvious that she is Not Okay. Tyler is even more Not Okay and that should absolutely be explored but when you only focus there you miss so much of what's actually happening, between them and on the show in general.
idk what exactly op is hinting at but yes i do have that feeling sometimes.
"if wednesday didnt immediately jump to torturing tyler before he could explain, tyler wouldnt have turned on her. i get she was hurt but she did exactly what laurel told him outcasts would do. poor tyler. :((("
okay, wednesday, who doesnt do well with lying and failure on a good day, got betrayed and humiliated on the most intimate level. i saw her cold, black heart snap in half and die in real time on the screen. it doesnt matter that tyler was under laurels orders and most of it was out of his control. wednesday isnt using logic. she is 16 and she had the most vulnerable parts of her dragged out into the sun and made a laughing stock.
An excellent example of the attitude I'm talking about. Like, yes, absolutely, poor Tyler. I love him and he doesn't deserve any of the horrendous things he's been through. Without knowing exactly what Laurel's orders were or how much she told him or exactly how the Hyde/Master thing works it's impossible to say what if any responsibility he holds for it all but he is unquestionably more victim than anything else.
And none of that does anything to nullify the fact that he (and/or Laurel, but that doesn't really matter from her perspective either) hurt Wednesday in one of the worst ways she specifically could ever be hurt, or that she's even younger than Tyler is and has her own complex web of trauma going on.
Do we think being held down and forced to watch her pet be crushed to death at six years old was an isolated incident? I mean, even if it was, that's horrific and more than enough reason to carry lifelong damage but what are the odds she was just left alone after that? The tiny, obviously neurodivergent Latina outcast girl with no defensive powers had no more trouble after that, despite her brother being viciously bullied for the same reasons, until she got to Jericho and was immediately swarmed by a group of boys who had decided to target her before they even entered the building she was in?
No, it was old news by then, and she knew exactly how to handle it because she's been dealing with that shit her entire life.
That's not even getting into all the people who don't violently hate her for existing but are constantly trying to shape her and shrink her into something more palatable and understandable and 'normal', which at last count was everyone except Gomez, Pugsley, Thing, Fester... and Tyler.
Tyler got past all her defenses and exposed everything inside her she kept locked up for survival and then he and Laurel and Crackstone reaffirmed every single fear and insecurity the world ever instilled in her. That's why she's so much more hardened and paranoid in s2, she's fucking traumatized and believes more than ever that the only way to keep herself and the people she loves safe is to never let her guard down, never let weakness show and never let go of an ounce of control.
The Creature x Elizabeth by Shannon Wildsmith.
Either of them could be telling each dialogue lmao they absolutely match each other's freak
Morticia& Gomez // Wednesday & Tyler
I’ll never get over this.
I would pay a substantial amount of money to see Uncle Fester ditch Wednesday halfway through the Great Enid Hunt once Tyler shows up and he and Wednesday are reunited, where Uncle Fester hops on his motorcycle and yells
-
"Have fun on the honeymoon, lovebirds!" While speeding away cackling
I stay with him while he sleeps; he never asked me to, but he never asked me not to, either.
I stay with him and hope that when the nightmares come, I might be able to help him. That when the nightmares come… It will be my name he calls.
It never is.

Wednesday is NOT the smartest person in the room
I'm glad somebody mentioned this because that line really stuck with me throughout s2. Both Tyler and Weems calls Wednesday out on NOT being the smartest person in the room.
And her arrogance in always wanting to be right is a major flaw within her.
Which is why I really love that they pointed it out.
But while she might not be the smartest person in the room.
She is definitely one of the most CLEVER people in the room. Tyler points this out as well when his uncle Isaac talked about his plans to take down Wednesday and the Addams family.
Wednesday is so great at working her way out of the bad positions she puts herself and others in, it's actually amazing.
I think that's one of the reasons that Tyler is so infatuated with her as well. The way she strategizes and pivots from plan to plan when things don't work out her way, is really a sight to behold.
That's why going forward in Season 3, I really think this needs to be a season where she's not the smartest nor is she the cleverest, She is grasping at straws and she's going to have to depend on others for help.
That struggle is going to clear up a lot of things for her going forward, like who she can ultimately trust, (Tyler) who her real friends are, (Enid, Bianca, Eugene, Ajax, Agnes, Etc..) how to accept emotions she might not want to face, (Her feelings for Tyler and her fear of her Mother not approving/accepting her)
All of these are things I think she will learn to face throughout the season, but I think this is the season we'll see Wednesday in a completely different light.
Season 1
Season 2
The beauty of Hunter Doohan as tyler galpin✨
I keep saying this shit but I'm so excited to see Tyler in S3 after being away from all the horrible things that happened/he did in Jericho ans no longer under any master influence but also no longer going through psychosis/injuries/maybe starvation? His interactions with Wednesday will be so interesting!
Wednesday: I do not require the presence of men.
Bianca, Enid, Larissa, Donovan, Lucas, Xavier, Rowan's ghost, the faceless who sits behind Wednesday in math: you literally stopped trying to run away because you met a boy.
Tyler:
I do see Wednesday and Tyler getting married kind of young. Especially after the chapel scene in S2… Tyler was at the alter, Wednesday was walking down the aisle, she had a serum that would bind them together forever, and Tyler was going to let her…
Yes but also, I totally see them doing some weird obscure ritual that blood binds them instead of an actual wedding. Tyler would just teasingly call himself her husband and she wouldn't deny it, since they are more than married but there's no word for that.
They would eventually tie the know on a cemetery or something, and Wednesday would amply complain about participating in patriarchal whatever the fuck but still go along with it lmao
I randomly just get brain and heart aches through the day whenever I remember Weyler.
Like they’re so down bad for each other and I genuinely think they don’t realize HOW down bad they are. I think Tyler has an inkling of “I like messing with her” and “she’s fun” and Wednesday has a “he’s interesting” and “he’s my ultimate betrayer” and both understand the other gets them, but both refuse to think of how in depth and softly in love they are.
I think if Wednesday realized it, she would absolutely break cuz he did betray her, and Tyler would break because HE DID betray her. Ultimate grief and guilt for two people who are afraid of those things exactly.
Just wow.
Yes!!
It's going to be so interesting to see how they can build the relationship back up eventually given how much they don't trust each other, especially Wednesday, after how difficult it probably was for her to trust the first time.
I hope it's slow, a bit of push and pull.
