Over this past year, many people who voted for trump have started to feel regret. Elderly people who voted for him are being stripped of their care, queer folk who voted red are having their livelihoods taken from them, farmers are being stripped clean, and in times like this its easy for one to feel empathetic. Don't.
This goes beyond "you fell for it again", this goes beyond "you got what you voted for". People are being executed in the streets by the presidents personal KGB, every ally the US once had has turned on us, and its all because of who they voted for.
Don't be empathetic to their regrets, don't feel bad for their misfortune, because the truth is they don't deserve it. We are where we are now because of their decisions, and we need to *never* for the rest of their lives let them forget it. Ostracize them, laugh at them, do not allow them the courtesy to forget what they helped happen.
A civil war of some kind is imminent and the country is a powder keg waiting to blow, we should not feel empathy towards the people who lit the fuse.
