DRABBLE CHALLENGE! #1 - 150
It was quite unusual for Thor to sleep at Stark his tower. Normally when it was time to go to bed, he would return to Asgard. However the god had decided to stay a few days, which meant he had his own quarters for the time being. Those quarters happened to be right above of Steve’s. Nobody knew how Thor spend his night, everyone figured he just slept like everyone else. Unfortunately for Steve that was not the case.
At first it had been quiet. Steve had managed to get some sleep, but that was harshly disturbed around 4 AM. Sure Steve was the one who was up early himself. But that was around 6 or sometimes 7 AM. 4 AM was an ungodly hour and he still needed some sleep if he wanted to make it through the day. However the God of Thunder did not seem to grant him the sleep he needed. There were sounds, stomps, it sounded like either he was ravishing someone up there, or he was working out. He hoped it was the latter, because Steve could not recall he had seen Thor bring in a woman.
Steve was laying on his bed, staring at the ceiling. Honestly if he could have knocked out a God, he would have gone up there and hit him. Unfortunately Steve did not want to seem rude. Thor was a guest, he wouldn’t stay for too long. He just needed to endure this for the time being. That did not mean that Steve was getting incredibly annoyed. He was getting grumpy real fast while he tried to catch some sleep. Unfortunately he did not seem to manage to get the rest he needed, because every time he seemed to doze off, Thor managed to make an other sound that led to the super soldier being in the grumpy state he rarely was.
It felt like all of his plans were ruined because Steve couldn’t see himself get ready for the day. There was plenty he needed to do in the early morning, but he did not want to run in the park, nor did he want to finish the report he had still laying around. For now he just wanted to stay into bed and fall asleep for as long as he needed to. It felt like he had been awake for hours and when he checked his alarm, he noticed it was already 7 AM. He was supposed to wake up and have a run in the park with Sam. However he decided to sleep and wake up a little later than he should. It only he had gone to bed a little earlier. Things with Thor and the others had been fun. There was alcohol, music and he couldn’t just leave around 10 PM. Eventually he went to bed around 2 AM and was surprised to hear Thor making sounds only two hours later.
Only an hour later, Steve decided to get out of bed. He managed to look more awake than he actually was and after preparing himself for the run he was supposed to have an hour ago, he went to the kitchen. He needed to have some breakfast before he could train. Breakfast is the most important meal of your day kids. Even Captain America himself doesn’t skip it.
When he arrived in the kitchen, Thor was there, on the couch? Steve threw the God a look, too grumpy to mention anything. Steve went to make himself a quick meal so he could be off and have some time for himself. “Steve!” Thor shouted, “Steve! Clint taught me this game”, he continued. Steve frowned while he glanced at the God. Honestly he was too tired and too annoyed to be able to reply properly. So he just glanced, eating the cereal he had made himself. “It is called the floor is lava”, he mentioned. Well that explained why he was standing on the couch. “Is that why you have been jumping around in your room?” he grumbled, in which Thor happily nodded. “He told me about it last night, I’ve been practicing all night”, Steve looked baffled, how was he so awake? Fucking Gods. Thor moved around, before Steve realized it, he was standing on the chair near to him. He had definitely practiced.
“Thor, get out of the way before I murder you” Steve mentioned, yet the Captain seemed to rethink his actions and left the kitchen with his cereal still in his hand. He was going to finish his breakfast in his room and after that he would go outside for a run immediately. He always felt good after a good run. Within ten minutes, Steve had left the tower, leaving Thor confused on the chair he was still standing on.
