Ā Chris definitely lucked out when he found ThorāsĀ āRoommate Wanted Adā before moving to Grimmvale. The apartment was niceā much nicer than anything Chris could hope to pay for on his own, two bedroom, one bath with a decent sized living area. Granted, it was a mess but Chris never expected luxury.Ā
Ā It was also nice to hear his roommate plucking away at his guitar for hours on end. With Lilo in school and Nani at work all the time, Chris had found his home in Kauai quiet too often.
Ā Heād just finished unpacking his things and throwing his comforter onto the bed when he heard Thor call from the living room.
āYour friend Bambi is here!ā
Ā Bambi? Chris didnāt remember telling him that he was rooming with Thor or telling Thor that he knew Bambiā He wondered how the heck Thor and Bambi had come to know each other in the first place but figured the answer laid in the fact that it was a small town. He took it as a welcomed surprise nonetheless and kicked aside the newly emptied boxes to get out of his bedroom and into the living room.

Ā At the sight of Bambi Chris rushed to lift him into a semi-violent hug,Ā āYeah, of course itās me! How many Chrises do you know man?ā
Bambi couldnāt help but to start bouncing again at the sight of Chris coming into the room. He was immediately greeted by his friend hauling him off the ground for a hug, but heād been holding his arms out to hug him back anyway.
āOf course itās me! How many Chrises do you know, man?ā
āI only need to know one!ā Bambi threw his arms around Chrisā neck and squeezed.Ā āReally, did you guys not know each other before this? All three of us went to the academyāā
Ā Thor paid little mind to the cheerful reunion between Chris and Bambi, he was trying to locate the guitar pick heād just misplaced but he caught enough of the conversation to throw his own two cents in, āMustāve missed each other... I wasnāt there for too long.ā
Ā In fact, Thor had spent no more than a year at the Academy before dropping out and demanding to be allowed to come back home. A demand that was ultimately denied by his father but he was provided with a substantial amount of money for basic needs through his mother and decided to live in Grimmvale for the time being. It was through a weird coincidence that everyone from the Academy suddenly seemed to be flocking there.
Ā At last, heād finally located the guitar pick heād been searching for and situated himself, once again, with his guitar in his lap and strummed a bit for good measure before offering his full attention to the people standing in front of him.
