Stiles and Derek are secretly dating/having sex when another pack visit. It’s somehow decided that derek and lydia need to pretend to be mates in front of the other pack. Cue lots of angst and jealous Stiles. I think Stiles was acting as the packs emissary and they held a kind of ‘games’ where the pack members fought/trained against each other. I’m aware of a similar fic on AO3 where stiles is female but he was definately male in the one i’m trying to find
