God, I'm so... conflicted.

I'm actually... excited from everything I saw In the trailer, but given Ubisoft's past handling Of the Rayman series I'm just Too Damn apprehensive about it. I'm just So Used to Rayman being done dirty at this point

But yet... It looks like there was so much love for the series put into this new game. And unlike Origends they're not trashing the games that came before it, but actually embracing them?? (ESPECIALLY RAYMAN 3?? THEY APPARENTLY GOT DAVID GASMAN BACK TO VOICE RAYMAN??? AND THE RAYMAN 3 PREORDER BONUSES???? WHAT)

Like my biggest gripe with Origends was with how much... contempt they seemed to have for the previous games, but that's not present here?? In fact it's the opposite???

And just as I was typing this my sibling just showed me the retro skins pack and I am Going to cry about the Gen 1 Betilla skin for Barbara, she looks wonderful oh my God

i've always personally preferred drawing rayman's eyes together, for decades

giacomo's design for phantom show is nearly a perfect design. like my only thing i'd change is his hair shape to be more like r3. the characterization is good too.

we've seen one (1) image of the retold design and it may or may not have been AI upscaled. it's not even of rayman's actual design (talking about the heavy metal fist pic, not the obviously AI art with all the characters). we haven't seen it animated. we haven't seen anything from ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE A SINGLE PICTURE

IT'S SUCH A NON ISSUE WHY ARE YOU WRITING OFF AN ENTIRE GAME BECAUSE THERE'S A SPACE BETWEEN RAYMAN'S FUCKING EYES
