the only thing i have said is that God loves everyone, that it’s not anyone’s place to judge, that you can be gay and Christian, and that you should be allowed to live your truth, have your life valued and protected regardless of your sexuality

i know what the text says. and what i also know is that no matter what sin anyone does, they are welcome in the kingdom of God if they have a heart for God. 

if you know anything about biblical text, you know 1 Corinthians was written by Paul about how believers ought to live while in Corinth. it’s his word, as he has interpreted instructions by God. that’s his testimony, that’s his perspective

my testimony, my perspective, is that the bible tells us CLEARLY that no matter WHAT YOU DO you are welcome in the kingdom of God

that is all i’m going to say on the topic because i’m tired of having this conversation. i’m tired of Christians taking up the task of memorizing 3 scriptures and focusing on homosexuality so much. i have never had God wake me up in the middle of the night to tell me that he hates Gay people and that they are not allowed in the kingdom. I have had God tell me to love and be loved, and to be an example of Christ by loving and supporting people. that’s it. i’m over this topic and i’m over us having this conversation at the cost of LGBT people who feel excluded by the church 

the bible talks about sins like abuse, adultery, violence, etc etc way more than this and yet we still talk about it

God loves everyone. Period. No qualifiers. End of conversation.

I'm Jamaican born and raised with family members and friends that believe in Rastafarianism. Obviously you don't have to be Rasta but it originally was for religious purposes/spirituality. I know non black don't have the texture for it but I still don't care enough about hair culture appropriation and you'll find a lot of native Jamaicans that don't.

Honestly I rather not know any of idols personal lives for the most part, this is coming from a young fan. Also I get why some young people can be jealous, heck even I get like that, don't judge me I'm still a kid, it's just there's a different between that and leaving rants all over social media, etc. Though to me I find it weird where it's like 'you should be happy' I won't be happy but I won't be upset either, I'm indifferent, treat it like it doesn't matter or exist. it depends. Like when I was getting tea from k-fans not too long ago, that was cool. But after awhile the stuff they started telling was a bit too personal and made me feel uncomfortable and that’s when I stopped. I feel like there’s a limit and people really need to watch what they tell. I’ve always been the type of person not to run back and tell everything, even if I wasn’t told to keep it a secret. But I learned that even MORE running this blog. Just because you know certain information about an artist doesn’t mean you tell it, especially since khh fans will take the smallest thing and make it so huge and nasty. Like seriously if you tell positive tea after khh fans get done it’ll just be so negative and not even fun anymore. I hate that because there’s cool things that I’d actually LIKE to tell but I won’t because the bad apples will spoil it and make everyone feel like shit. So yeah, I think there’s definitely a limit and there’s a point where I will not engage with anyone telling me certain info.

As for being happy? It’ll depend as well. Like I’d be really happy to find out B.I. is dating because he works so hard and it’d be nice that there’s someone there to show him love at the end of a long hard day. Most of the time I’m just indifferent though.

Watching all of Henry’s apologize made me feel…eh. Like I’m not someone that feeds off dragging people, if that’s what you like whatever. But I really do want Henry to genuinely and honestly learning from this. The apology wasn’t perfect but If you listened to the entire apologize he addressed all or majority of what ignorant shit he’s pulled. And I was gonna pass it off as insincere but like I was like him too. I’m not making excuses and he even said he’s not making excuses (because addressing a previous mindset doesn’t act as making excuses) and like before I moved to America I didn’t know blackface even though I am black and talking about cultural appropriation as a major issues started recently so I get it. It still ain’t right tho. That video is shit even tho I do like the song. I genuinely and honestly want him to do better and take a moment to think about his delivery before doing something. Like impact over intent. The one good thing I think came out of this is him saying he’ll let other singers know because he really don’t have to.
