imagine Russia being kind of self conscience about his looks, because he thinks he is either too pale, or ugly because of his scars, and only America knows about this. while they do bicker quite a bit, America knows not to mess with Russia about those really sensitive things, and one day he gives Russia a small letter, and when he reads it, its just America describing how beautiful Russia is. its basically “oh my god you’re just so gorgeous???” as he talks about Russias eyes and how beautiful they are, he tells him that pale skin doesnt make him ugly, and that it looks like freshly fallen snow, and his scars are actually character and kind of hot, it makes him look tough. and Russia doesnt know what to do with all the love and attention oh my god???? he is just sitting there blushing and gripping the paper tightly.
