Gonna be doing some major MAJOR revamping on this blog over the next few days. (Don't be surprised if it disappears for a while)
Not gonna be home in time to watch the stream :(
Working the Portland Timbers playoff game. We're playing the Vancouver Whitecaps. Hopelessly hoping Colin and Co decided to make the trek down here.

She knew she wasn’t supposed to be there. But, who was ever going to find out? Emma and Killian were having a date night, Mary Margaret and David never went anywhere besides Granny’s and the park. And she hadn’t seen Regina and Robin for at least a week. So her chances of being caught were slim.
Besides, she just wanted to try it. It was in all the good books. If she was ever going to be a good writer she needed to experience life, right?
“Uh—I’ll have whatever that guy’s having” she said, gesturing to the man at the end of the bar. Moments later, she had whiskey or rum or something in her hand. She wasn’t sure what it was, but she was sure it tasted like poison.
She made her way over to the pool table. Ready to try and flirt her way into something exciting when she stopped dead in her tracks. The man at the end of the bar… It was… And he had seen…Oh she was so screwed.
“—-Umm, I was just helping mom find Leroy… Apparently, he’s been causing trouble” she said, trying to cover. It was a pathetic lie, one that she knew he’d have to be an idiot to believe…
It had started out as a normal date night for him and Emma, something they were insistent on keeping every week for the sake of having some them time without any of their extended family somewhere nearby. An evening that was going brilliantly until impeccable hearing picked up on an all too familiar voice, one that he would recognize anywhere. Blue eyes widened as he met Emma’s equally surprised gaze before both turned towards the middle of the bar to see their very much underage daughter walking in their direction, drink in hand. As soon as it was apparent she spotted them, Killian pushed away from his wife without a word and slipped through the crowed towards Hailey.
“Your mother? You mean the same one that’s been with me all evening, enjoying the fact she is off-duty?” Killian inquired with a raise of his brow and his arms crossing over his chest, not one bit impressed with her lying. “What are you doing in here, Hailey? Why aren’t you at home where you said you’d be all evening?”
Jesus fucking Christ this is the most intense soccer match I've ever seen.
When your muse's girlfriend takes over for a Halloween party thing.
Someone help. I need to come up with an idea for my pumpkin. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO CARVE ON IT
Ended up doing a batman logo. I'll post pics later tonight after movie!

“Who said the music wasn’t to my liking?” Emma asked, giving him a look over the rim of her glass as she took a sip. Though when she really thought about it, what else was he going to think? She had done her best to make it look like she wasn’t paying any attention to them once she’d realized he was staring at her. Truthfully, she enjoyed their music, but he was right – Ruby had dragged her there. “Yeah…she kinda did. I was just hoping to relax after work, but she’s pretty persistent, so here I am.”
A brow rose and his smirk only grew. “You were very adamant about not listening to it from what I could tell,” Killian pointed out, taking another sip of his rum. “Which is quite alright if you don’t like it. I know our music isn’t for everyone. Though I don’t blame you, I’d prefer a night in relaxing to being forced out by one of my mates. Gods know they’re so bloody obnoxious.”
Killian Jones: Relationship Guru
It might have been just a joke (and new fodder for the usual Hater idiots) but Killian is honestly one of the MOST qualified to dish out relationship advice, and its not because he’s some incredible Lothario, but rather because he’s actually really, really, good at relationships.
Onscreen we’ve only actually seen him romantically interact with two women, and both of those women he ended up in very serious long term, true love, situations with.
Any other ladies we’ve seen him with (Tink, the bar wenches, the prostitute) were dismissed in favor of, or because of, these two women.
With Milah she was willing to board a pirate ship and sail the realms after only two days in his company. Part of that was because of her unhappiness with Rumple and their situation but when they meet Rumple again her words are:
“He told stories of the places he’d been and I fell in love with him.”
Which tells me that it was a combination of both her unhappiness and Killian as a person that lead to such a drastic decision.
Killian was with Milah for something like 8 years which is just as long or longer than any of the other relationships we’ve see on the show (curse years don’t count).
They lived in very close quarters on a ship full of scurvy pirates which can’t be easy for ANY relationship, and yet when we see them in the future they are equal partners and leaders, completely committed and willing to die for one another.
He embarked on a multiple hundreds years quest to avenge her death. Things were serious.
With Emma we’ve actually SEEN him in action and got a full picture of what Killian is like when he’s with someone: devoted, loyal, understanding, and ridiculously enamored and romantic.
He traded an entire ship, his home, to bring her back to her family with the understanding she might not feel the same way, and that she might even love another.
He swept her off her feet, taught her to dance, and gave her a true lighthearted fairytale moment.
He made her apart of the stories she felt so separated from.
He took her on one of the best examples of a true “date” on this show so far. He went all out: changing his clothes, reattaching a limb, getting her a rose, arranging dinner, giving her his jacket, and a fairly chaste good night kiss and nothing more.
He brings her lunch at the station on the mere off handed mention that she’s been craving a grilled cheese all day.
He is the type of man to kiss on the cheek and have cute little displays of affection in front of others, even people he dislikes who JUST ridiculed him, just because he loves her more than his reputation.
He obviously adores hand holding. (Which just makes me WEEP.)
He likes to go on romantic walks throughout the town.
He suggests hanging out and watching the sea and the horizon together in the harbor to soothe her.
He used to take her for sailing lunch/dinner dates on the regular apparently.
He makes a concentrated and earnest effort to get to know HER, even her past relationships, and he remembers and recalls these details and the things she tells him.
He arranges horseback rides and trips to flowery meadows to give her a reprieve from the demons in her head.
He DIED for her within hours of meeting on the mere possibility they were close in another life.
And that’s not even touching the emotional support and understanding he gives her.
He always encourages her and supports her. These aren’t false words to boost her confidence, he honestly believes she is the most amazing and talented person in his acquaintance.
He pushes her when she needs to be pushed and pulls back when she needs space.
He makes her his TOP priority, to the exclusion of all things, but in a way where he doesn’t lose himself or who he is as a person in doing so, and he refuses to be part of something toxic just for the sake of being with her because it’s not the best thing for HER.
Like seriously, if Henry should take advice from ANYONE about romantic relationships it is Killian freaking Jones.
and let’s not forget that he is acting this way after centuries lost in darkness, and with all sort of tragedies happening to him and having to act in a certain way to maintain his reputation with the crew/enemies to avoid more troubles. No matter what happens to him, apparently nothing can take away his romantic side, or turn him into someone who wouldn’t spontaneously kiss his girlfriend’s cheek to say goodbye before a few hours of sailing with her kid
no matter how much his life has changed him, at his core he is extremely romantic when in love, even if it would be understandable that after years of playing a certain person and getting hurt over and over again he could become someone who doesn’t even think about lunch dates.
“Umm I don’t ‘member” she shrugged, clearly more interested in searching for her drawing than answering her fathers questions. Rummaging through her mess, Hailey pulled out countless drawings, putting the extra good ones aside to show her father.
“This one’s of you and me” she said, handing it to him. “Back in our old castle. Cause that’s Patches the horse next to the sun.”
She then continued to look through her drawings for the one of Henry. She was very proud of that one. But, she couldn’t find it. After a few moments, she huffed angrily, “Daddy I can’t find the one of Henry and it was my bestest one! I stayed inside the lines and everything.” She thought hard on where she put it, then remembered she had shown it to Emma the day before. “Wait I think mommy has it! Let’s go find her and she can show you my drawing.”
Killian kept silent as the girl rummaged through her drawings and showed them off, at a complete loss of what to do or say about any of this. Whatever doubt he had about this little blonde being his daughter vanished as soon as her frustration flared up, way too similar to his own short temper to not have passed it on to her.
His hand settled on her shoulder before she could even consider leaving the room. “Emma is out at the moment, darling. She won’t be back until later, and you can ask her then about the drawing. How about you tell me what you two have been doing since we all came back?”
at this rate i’m not going to be able to watch tonight’s episode until tomorrow. the fucking download is taking forever and we’re going to the bar in less than an hour to watch twd.
@ticktock-killthecroc liked for a starter!
Baelfire roamed around the ship that night, his mind buzzing while his hands fiddled together in a jittery dance. Tears lined his bright brown orbs as imagines of the nightmare he had just witnessed played in his head over and over again. He roamed the deck aimlessly, stuck in his thoughts, as he kept his eyes on the island that seemed to taunt them from such a short distance. “It’s always interesting how a simple thought can become something so… twisted…”
“The longer you live, the less interesting it is, and the more common and unimpressive it becomes,” Killian responded, his voice quiet as he moved across the deserted deck towards the boy. He’d been worried about the lad since returning to the Jolly, and had kept a closer eye than usual on him. Baelfire was young and had yet to experience many of the things he had, and Neverland would only provide more of those less than pleasant events.
She could tell something was wrong. That something was different. He just wasn’t acting like he usually did around her… Had she grown? She hadn’t had a haircut… Maybe she just looked extra big today.
She looked up at her father, her eyes stilling on him like she was taking him in for the first time. Because truthfully, it had felt like years since she had seen him, and Hailey was only four!
“Don’t be silly” she giggled, before wriggling out of Killian’s arms and back onto the ground, “Where’s Grandma and Grandpa and Henry? Mommy says you went on a trip! I did a drawing of Henry, wanna see?”
Killian tried to interject, but found his voice to not be working at the moment. Most likely due to shock. This girl was convinced she was his daughter-- his and Emma’s daughter. But he’d never seen her before in his life. Not that he could rememb--
The missing five years.
Anything could’ve happened in the five years they spent in Camelot. Obviously, considering Swan had given in to the Darkness. But-- a child? Was that even possible? Or plausible? And why did she remember him and everyone else, but not the other way around? He was not looking forward to that conversation with Emma.
Unsure of what else to do, and not wanting to leave her alone, Killian relented for the time being and followed her into her room. “What sort of trip did she say we were on?”
The year before he hadn’t been close enough to her to know it was her birthday, and she was amazed by the change that had occurred not long after. She didn’t know how to express her gratitude for that. The fireworks kept exploding and drew her eyes up for a moment, before she tightened her arms around him, “Hold me while we watch the fireworks?”
“Of course.” His arms slid easily around her waist, holding her firmly against his body. Shifting into a comfortable standing position, blue eyes drew upwards towards the sky, and Killian watched the fireworks for a time in silence, just enjoying the moment.
A broad grin swept the girl’s face as the door swung open. It was her father. Where had he been? Why was he looking at her so confused? She jumped into his arms excitedly, quickly nestling her head against his shoulder,
“Where you been daddy?”
As surprised as he was to see the girl smile up at him and jump into his arms like she did, he nearly dropped her when she called him ‘daddy’. It took everything he had to not deposit the girl onto the floor and stare at her like she was crazy. What sort of game was Swan playing at? Using a kid to get at him?
“I think you’ve got me confused with someone else, lass. I’m not anyone’s father.”
As the voice got closer, Hailey’s eyes widened. It sounded just like... She hadn’t seen him in so long! Where had he been? She pulled on the door handle, putting her entire weight against it, as if that would somehow help open it.
“I’m in here” she yelled, “the door stuck!”
Hearing-- and seeing-- the corresponding door rattle against its frame, Killian rushed over and tried to open it. It, of course, was locked as well. Luckily he was a pirate with a knack for picking locks with the help of his hook. A few quick seconds later and the door was pulling open to reveal a little blonde lass, no older than a toddler.
“What are you doing here, sweetheart? Why does Swan have you locked up like this?” Who are you?
