Yeah this reminds me of one time when I was in the 5th grade. Two of the boys in my class were fighting, like actually getting physical. And this was before class started for the day, we were instructed to stand outside and not enter the room until the teacher let us in. But these two idiots were fighting and the rest of the kids were gathered around them and encouraging the fight. I went into the room and got my teacher, who was pissed but not for the reasons I thought she was. Those two got an in-school suspension for fighting and the teacher pulled me aside and told me that I should’ve just let it happen until she was done grading everyone’s homework rather than disobey and enter the room to disturb her. I thought I’d done something good, but instead I was told to let violence happen.

Reminds me of the time this girl who was a lot bigger than me got super pissed when I put my bag on the empty chair next to me in choir. She literally had her hands around my neck, and I didn’t even lay a finger on her. She got suspended. What did I get, for being attacked and shit? A Saturday detention. The reason? Because there were “more adult choices I could have made”

One time during freshman year these two boys started fighting. One of them (the bigger guy who seriously had uncontrollable anger issues) started he fight by saying the the other boy (smaller, really smart and talked a lot) was irritating him so he started punching him. We were just like the fuck? And thought that the scrawnier kid was seriously gonna get killed, but before anyone could jump in and break it up, the kid started hitting and punching and shoving back until the other boy was on the floor. They both got sent to the office and both got suspended for the equal amount of time, even after I went to the office and told the principal that the smaller kid was getting bullied and it was all self-defense and I got yelled at for interfering. Then, when we complained to a teacher, she said that “he shouldn’t have fought back and that because he did, then he should be punished,” I was so fucking pissed.
