True crime stories are important to be heard and told and they’re not always easy to get an audience on. A creator spreading victims stories while dressing up and putting on makeup is better than letting their stories go untold or forgotten.

However, since the majority of true crime people are female identifying, it IS misogynistic that you seem to only have issue with the instagram influencers dressing up and multitasking to make a video about such dark topics more palatable to a wider audience. Once again you don’t HAVE to watch the video, you’re not the intended audience. It’s there for true crime people to listen to while we multitask other things.
