Low Energy: Killer Edition

Killers x Sleepy!Reader headcanons

A sequel to the headcanon post surrounding the survivors with a Sleepy!Reader. I don't know why this took as long as it did to write.

I believe this will have spilt headcanons for both a Killer and Survivor Reader. There's more for Killer Reader since that's what you're probably curious about!

Aside from the children, which will be all platonic. These headcanons could be taken as both romantic or platonic.

Slasher

Killer

"Ki ki ma ma"

Doesn't immediately notice it, as he usually keeps to himself. But when he does realize what's going on, he gives you space, thinking that's what you need. And almost getting mad at the others for bothering you so much

If you have a habit of wandering around the place half asleep, he'd sneak up behind you while holding a blanket up and then tackle you to wrap you in it, tying the ends around your neck so you'd stay warm. He hopes the embarrassment of this sequence of events would tip you into not overworking your body like this in the future

If you've been out of bed and about for longer than usual, he straight up takes hold of your hand and drags you to bed, pointing at you then the bed. Forcing you in it if you refuse

Made you a straw doll and put it in your bed, with a scrap of paper next to it that says "For security". This isn't to be mistaken for childish naivete, he's just aware that having something to hold onto makes it easier to sleep

Feels bad for you when he watches your rounds, but can't look away once they start, oddly enough. It's entertaining in a way, for some reason, it brings him back to his childhood. He doesn't understand the correlation between the two

Catches you just seconds before you hit the ground when you pass out, carrying you back to your bed bridal style. He'd stay sat at the edge of your bed, watching over you, checking your pulse every couple minutes. When you do wake up, you'd see them visibly sighing in relief and reach over to squeeze your hand, a silent "Don't do that again"

He'd turn to you if you lean on him, tilting their head before setting it on top of yours, eyes slowly closing behind the mask. Which turns into them sleeping wherever you two were at if you stay like that long enough

Survivor

"Ki ki ma ma"

Tilts his head seeing you so out of it, but it doesn't stop him from going after you

After a while of this, whenever he catches you, he'd give you a headpat before killing you. Moving onto his next target after staring at your dead body for a second

Overall doesn't really care other than small moments, but other than that, he'd still kill you

Killer

"Ugh, get up.."

At first doesn't care for your lack of energy, let alone you. So doesn't pay much attention when you're stumbling around the place

Only really does anything if asked about your condition by c00lkidd, something about his worry softens the annoyance they have about you. This isn't to say she's any gentle about it as he tosses you over their shoulder to bring you to bed

Eyes you weirdly when you jolt awake just as you're about to nod off, a grumble under his breath suggesting you haul up in bed for the rest of the night if you're that tired

Feels something close to embarrassment when spectating you in a round in this state, there's only so many times she can watch you stumble around at any given round before it's enough

Doesn't bother letting you know what's going on or about meetings when they're being held, deems it a waste of time to do so as you're likely to forget about it anyway

Yanks you by the shirt when you pass out in front of them, one of the few times she even shows concern as he picks you up, hastily bringing you back to your bed. She doesn't say anything at first when you wake up, just sighs with a mumbled "You're alive. Good, the kid was worried" before telling you to sleep your exhaustion away and then leave you be

Leaning on them causes her to tense up and stare at you. Depending on how close you two are, she would either relax or push you off of him and tell you to go to bed. If you fell asleep on them however, he'd just let you rest, not moving to avoid jostling you awake, if only so you could be a little more awake later

Survivor

"You're boring me.."

Sees this as a weakness to exploit at first, taking the chance to strike you down with your guard down. It isn't as rewarding as he might've hoped however, but the feeling isn't there for long when she catches sight of another survivor

The longer you stay like this, the more irritated she gets whenever he comes across you. At some point they'd leave you for last man standing, to test out which of his attacks would make you the most awake

He practically groans everytime she sees you like this, bored and annoyed at you. Only really going after you to get more time on the clock, and whoever else decides to try to help you. Strangely enough, Shedletsky ignores you for the rest of the night after these rounds

John Doe

Killer

".. I'm sorry.."

Because of his lack of free will, there wouldn't be any noticeable difference in his behavior when it comes to you being like this. But at least he isn't hunting you down

Once your exhausted state is pointed out, he doesn't offer anything aside from a hum and a shrug. No strong opinions on it because he isn't given the mental space for it

Though, sometimes he does gain enough awareness to recognize that this isn't something natural, it's similar to what's going on with him. He never has enough time to both recognize this and report it to the other killers though

It's painful for him to speak, it's easier to pretend to be unable to rather than explain. However, the only thing he'll say to you is "Sleep" and "Sorry". Usually when you're too tired to remember it, and even if you did, no one would believe it because of your other strange ramblings

Doesn't watch the rounds you're in, too busy recovering his energy for his turn. But if you go up to him after your turn is over, he'll stare at you, and slowly raise his noncorrupted hand to give you a headpat. It's the only real acknowledgement you'll get from him

He wouldn't catch you if you passed out in front of him, staring at your crumpled form on the ground before someone walks in and orders him to put you to bed, leaving almost as soon as he tucks you in

Leaning against him doesn't give any reaction except for freezing and staying put, even if you fell asleep on him. Something in his mind gnaws at him at the sight, a twinge of familiarity as he stares at you sleeping

Survivor

"..."

There's no change to his behavior whatsoever, he's more likely to kill you than to actually give any sort of reaction to your exhausted state

In fact, if you continue to show signs of exhaustion, he'll start to go after you whenever he catches sight of you, as he'd learn that you're too tired to fight back

Doesn't even bother to trap you or use any of his stronger abilities, making it slow and painful

Noli

Killer

"[H—H—HEY THERE] [YOU'RE A ROCKSTAR!]"

On the curious if not less-serious-about-it side of the spectrum, watching your movements a lot of the time with amusement especially if you tripped and fell

Loves to test just how much he can get away with when you're in this state. Whether that be getting you to agree to dumb things he made up on the spot, moving you into strange positions, or straight up drawing on you. Your confused speech and actions is more entertaining to him than it should be

Surprisingly gets cuteness aggression just from seeing how loopy you could get, and has kept you by his side for longer than necessary because of it. There's no personal space to be had around him when you're like this

He's a frequent watcher of your rounds, treating it almost as more entertainment than the other Killers' rounds. He'd later bring up what you did to embarrass you, eventually turning into an inside joke for him

Finds himself treating you like a cat sometimes, baby talking you and treating you like you're dumb just because you're tired. Your refutes and arguments against it just fuels this idea even more

Because of the amount of time he spends around you, he's able to tell when you're about to pass out. However, he'll do either one of two things, catching you before you even hit the ground, or watches you if he's sure you won't hit your head. He'd definitely record those moments if he had the camera for it

Leaning or falling asleep on him automatically gets him to loop his arm around your waist or shoulder to bring you closer, cheek smushed to his as he practically brags about you being "The clingy one in this relationship" regardless of your relationship status. Though eventually, he does take you back to his bed, if only to enjoy the moment

Survivor

"Wowza! Early bird gets [B—BRAINWORMS]"

Would take this as an opportunity to mess around with you, hallucinations up to the max, and overall just poking at you to see what you would do

Uses you as bait to get the other survivors, banking on their protective nature over those who can't protect themselves

Usually leaving you for last man standing, he loosens up, and becomes slightly touchy, playing with your hair and all. May actually consider asking the Spectre to let you stay with him in this state— Because your reactions to things are funny like this

Guest 666

Killer

"Content purring noises"

Whenever you're sitting or laying down somewhere, she'd go over and sit themself either next to or on you. Sometimes even dragging a blanket from who knows where to cover you with

Makes it a point to cuddle up to you, it doesn't help that her fur is nice to the touch, and warm too. It makes it easier to fall asleep to

Stays by your side the whole time you're like this, helping you get to and from places, often times nudging you to sit down when you get too wobbly

If you're affectionate when sleepy, she practically eats it up when your hands would go all over their fur, and even when you press your face onto it with mumbled niceties, purring as he shoves thei head into your hand to get some headscratches in as well as some extra affection from you

Growls at anyone trying to make you do work when you're this exhausted, and straight up stares them in the eye as she pulls you further into his fur. You're theirs until you're fully awake

Is able to sense when you're about to pass out, so he'd pick you up by the back of your shirt and take you to her bed to cuddle up and sleep. Sometimes even when you're in the middle of a conversation

If you lean against them, she'd look at you before nuzzling into you, acting as a pillow for your resting needs. Especially if you fell asleep on them, he'd curl up around you, tail hooked around your waist to prevent you from leaving when you wake up, and she'd fall asleep right there and then

Survivor

"Inquisitive purr"

Would not hesitate to kill you, tearing you apart with too much ease, he doesn't seem to be in a state to recognize your exhaustion

Though, if it lasts more than a couple rounds, that's when she starts to notice and falter for a moment before killing you

After enough time like this, they'd leave you for last man standing, run up and tackle you to the ground, staring at you for a couple seconds before resting her head on your chest. Seems like he's trying to help you to sleep!

Nosferatu

Killer

"Your indulgence with the waking world is going to cost you greatly."

Refers to you as "The one plagued by sleep" with how much he's seen you, unable to catch even a wink of sleep. He rolls his eyes whenever he sees you, thinking of this as nothing more than you spitefully avoiding it

Surprisingly gentle with you, if only begrudgingly, telling you to take it easy, that weakness would get you killed if you weren't careful, yanking you back and ordering you to sleep when it gets too much. He isn't one to say any of this in front of others though

Doesn't partake in watching rounds to begin with, much more busy with his own thing. When you go into your sleeping area however, you find a few flowers that are meant to help with sleep nearby

If you continue like this even in the colder times of Autum and Winter, he'd seek you out, pulling you aside for warmth. He'd refuse to let you go, only holding you tighter with a grumbled "You need sleep.", threatening to knock you out themself if you try to get out

Passing out around them will only get a hum from them, stepping aside and announcing that you've passed out. He isn't one to carry just about anyone,

He'd scoff if you lean on them with a comment about how he's not an object to sleep on, urging you to go sleep in your own bed. Falling asleep on them would make them do a double-take, narrow their eyes at the audacity, then lay you down where you fell asleep, and cover you with their cape like a blanket, before leaving you be

Survivor

"Easy, prey. It's cute how you fumble even the simplest of tasks."

He likes to play with you a little before sinking their teeth into your neck, stalking you throughout the rounds just because he can, slowly draining your life along the way. Taking this as an opportunity to kill off anyone trying to help you

Sometimes he leaves you for a long while during last man standing, only to strike when you start to relax. Watching how you stumble around confused and shaky beyond the restraints of fear amuses him

He finds you entertaining, and likes how you don't fight back as hard as the others do. You're easy prey in their eyes, and that's all you ever will be

Mafioso

Killer

"Ya sleeping well?"

Takes notice almost immediately, straight up asking you if you had trouble sleeping the night before. Shaking his head with a "That won't do" under his breath, and makes you lie down somewhere comfortable to rest your eyes

He starts accidentally treating you like one of his men, specifically the ones who have horrible sleeping habits. He's more patient with you, pulling you to his side if you stumble around too much

Rambling about whatever you dreamed about, or any strange half awake conversation will make him narrow his eyes at you. He'd slowly answer what you said with a skeptical nod, "And how much did you sleep?" knowing full well that you couldn't get much rest

Watches the rounds you're in if only to study you even more, see if he could find out why you're this tired. His men wouldn't be entirely wrong to think that he's just a little obsessed, he just worries for your sake

Speaking of his men, he'd have one assigned to you whenever he's not around, to make sure you don't get yourself hurt with your wandering around. All four of his men have different opinions of you, Contractee thinks you're sweet and tries to find ways to help you sleep, Consigliere worries for your health and makes sure you take it easy, Soldier laughs at your antics and always has an arm around your shoulder, Caporegime treats this as a mission and ensures your safety above all else

He catches you just before your knees hit the ground when you pass out. Immediately hoisting you up into his arms to carry you somewhere more quiet, and enlists Consigliere's help to make sure nothing is wrong. He has to be reassured a couple times that you'd be okay before he could think to leave you to rest, occasionally checking in on you until you wake up, in which he'd scold you for not resting when you had the chance

He tenses up when you lean against him, and takes a second before his arm slowly slinks around your shoulder to tug you closer, your head set on his shoulder to get you more comfortable. Sighing in relief when you do fall asleep, bringing you back to your bed and tucking you in with a final "Sweet dreams" as he leaves you be

Survivor

".. This ain't a sleepover, why're ya here?"

Would falter when seeing you like this, and leave you for last as an easy kill. Totally not because he feels like it's a cheap kill early on

Kinda sends one of his men to keep an eye on you, not to kill, just to make sure you don't pass out somewhere unflattering

It's too awkward for him, this is how he finds out he prefers his targets actually being awake when he goes after them. He even goes and finds one of the survivors to tell them to give you some rest

C00lkidd + Bluudud + Pr3typriincess

Killer

"No fair! You said you'd play!/ Ugh, whatever, I don't care/ You're not actually still tired, are you?"

As annoying as one might believe c00lkidd to be, even he can see when someone is too tired to play, and he'd lean against you as if to lend you some of his energy. Bluudud doesn't care beyond side glances and winces when you bump into things, he's under the suspicion that your exhaustion isn't normal. Pr3typriincess scoffs at the sight of you, pointing her scepter at you and commanding you to go sleep, she doesn't understand how that can be hard

C00lkidd hangs out with you the most out of the three, dragging you everywhere when you're too tired to keep your eyes open. Bluudud would check in on you occasionally, a frown on his face when it looks like you aren't getting any better. Pr3typriincess only comes by to accessorize you with some of her things, since you never fight her on it when you're tired

Despite your clear exhaustion, c00lkidd still talks to you like you could form coherent responses, placing your hand on his head to prompt you into ruffling his hair while he talks your ears away. Bluudud would give you blanket to stay warm in, wrapping it around you before pausing, and sit down next to you, leaning with you for comfort. Pr3typriincess would tap you with her scepter at the most random of times, but especially when she has you play with her to get you to pay attention to her

Both c00lkidd and bluudud would cheer you on when they watch your rounds, while pr3typriincess rolls her eyes and leaves with a comment about the round probably being boring. C00lkidd believes in you while bluudud laughs at your failed attempts to kill the Survivors

If you're still like this even after a week, c00lkidd starts to fuss over you, acting like you'd break if touched wrong. And generally just becoming more of a menace to the other Killers and Survivors, even stopping going to 007n7 mid-round to ask him for help getting you to sleep. Bluudud comments solutions out-loud to his non-existent audience, becoming increasingly frustrated when he tries them out and fail. And ends up also asking 118o8 for advice on helping you, because "Chat is useless..", 118o8 would find this adorable if he wasn't actively killing her. Pr3typriincess rolls her eyes and drags you to a tea party, making you drink either lavender or chamomile tea, all the while watching your every move with a suspicious look

All three would panic when you pass out, unable to catch you in time. C00lkidd already at your side, trying to shake you awake, bluudud would keep your head up and yell out for help carrying you to the couch, while pr3typriincess would immediately seek one of the killers out to ask for help. All three would stay by your side, though pr3typriincess would be the first to leave, bluudud leaving just a little after she would, and c00lkidd would end up sleeping curled up next to you

Leaning on them wouldn't be recommended, because c00lkidd would only let you stay there until he starts to feel sore, then he'll complain about it and get up. Bluudud throws you a snide comment about personal space, giving you a push to emphasize his point. Pr3typriincess straight up tells you to get off of her, that she isn't a pillow for you to use. But falling asleep on them? That's different. C00lkidd actually quiets down for a change, playing with your hair in silent fascination until another killer comes by. Bluudud grumbles under his breath a little before pulling you to lie down, occasionally stealing glances from you. Pr3typriincess would slowly push you away from her until you were laying down, and leave you there to be someone else's problem, you aren't her responsibility after all

Survivor

"Aaw.. You're too sleepy to play right../ Hah! Easy win for me!/ Wow, rude to show up tired."

To say that all three's reactions are different would be an understatement. As c00lkidd would complain about seeing you being so tired and wobbly, alternating between "catching" you immediately and leaving you as one of the last ones for the tag game he thinks he's playing. Bluudud on the other hand, would take this opportunity to kill you right off the bat, laughing at you for being such a "Noob" at the game. Pr3typriincess is offended at the audacity of your exhaustion, takes it as an insult and a stain on her reputation, and so personally takes care of you herself

The longer you're like this, the worse their reactions get. C00lkidd starts treating you like you're sick, and kills you quickly to avoid becoming sick himself, even telling 007n7 to make you take a break. Bluudud dubs you as an easy kill or "Tired Zombie", going after you everytime he sees you, he doesn't care for your health besides that point. Pr3typriincess makes it a point to kill you off every chance she gets, she doesn't like how tired you still are after all this time, and she will continue to treat you as a pest until you get your act together

Overall, c00lkidd is wary of you, believing you to be sick. Bluudud is fond of you, if only because of how easy you make it for him to get more time on the clock. And pr3typriincess is annoyed at your existence, seeing you as the one thing that ruins the vibe she has going on
