|| 🌙 ||: ❝ Yeah it- It can be kind of weird sometimes. E-Especially if you’re just trying to get a coffee or run errands a-and then suddenly the Malwart is closed because Flamebeard decided he didn’t like the price of pork today. ❞
She chuckles, scratching at her ear lightly. That was a fun Friday, and by fun she meant stressful as all getout, thankfully Endymion was also shopping that day. Though some could say he only escalated the situation, considering Naomi was about ten seconds from just giving him the stupid pork.
God she needed a new job.
|| 🌙 ||: ❝ Well, yes, citizens are at risk sometimes. Heroes generally try to get people away from big fights though, and most villains only really have beef with the heroes so they’re not really trying to hurt civilians.
B-Believe it or not the big city-shaking fights aren’t as common as you think, It’s usually just little spats that last like five minutes at most. ❞
There’s a pause in her step as the next question is asked, the poor vampire nearly tripping over her own two feet- but catching herself and continuing on her path.
|| 🌙 ||: ❝ U-Uh, I am a hero- s-sorta. I-I’m on a team, we’re call the Sentinels of Dawn…
T-Though truth be told it was kind of an accident that we joined up. ❞
She clears her throat then, eyes darting about for something else to focus on. yet failing to find anything all that interesting to mention. Just… grass and trees.
|| 🌙 ||: ❝ S-So, tell me about your world! What kind of magic brought you here? Is magic common in your world? ❞
All in all, this world seemed fascinating already, and quite different to the places she has visited before, to the point the tiefling couldn’t help but laugh softly when Naomi was explaining herself.
“Sounds like it can get lively around here, even if it’s villain and heroes fights we’re talking about.” Fighting was something she avoided when she could, but it sounded so lighthearted compared to the kind of fights she usually got involved with that, she couldn’t help but warm up to the thought.
There was a hint of envy at the back of her mind, but only because she wishes things would’ve been like this in the place she came from.
“So, you really are a hero! I think joining up by accident with other people is usually more fun.” After making a pause, the half-demon swung her tail rather playfully, before letting a pair of clawed fingers rest upon her own chin.
“My world is filled with magic. It’s quite common, really. There are even academies and schools to study magic, or some, like me, are born with the ability to cast magic without the need of studying it.”
Snapping her fingers for a second, the sorceress made a small blue flame of fire to appear on her fingers, but not long after, she waved her hand and it disappeared.
“I used a portal to get here. I can only use that spell once a day because it’s...quite heavy on me, but I think it’s pretty worth to travel around that way. Otherwise, I would’ve never had the possibility of ending up here.”
