Mike lost his life this morning after being struck by a car during the Indian Pacific wheel Race. His dot stopped moving at 6.30 this morning on the Monaro Highway south of Canberra. For us Mike was a friend, for some of us he has even been the inspiration to change life and and take on new adventures in pursuit of happiness. As you all know Mike was a legend for the sport and he contributed to change it deeply under every aspect, but today we want to say to all of you, our friends, that one of his biggest achievements wasn’t during his inhuman rides but to have built a great community around him and around the Transcontinental.
