My Afropunk watercolor Series is about 4 years strong! This plein air project was born from the sheer creative energy of the festival. It’s help me make new friends and solidify existing ones. I usually sit down and take about 15 to 20 minutes to paint someone while waiting for the next show. Unfortunately, COVID-19 will slow things down but I hope to keep things going when Afropunk picks up again.
