This cake had many special arrangements; including a very unique pick up time and travel. It was really a very pretty cake for a group of marines celebrating their birthdays. Red velvet w/ cream cheese on the bottom tier and vanilla with key lime butter cream of the top. Hand shaped/sculpted marine logos and gum paste flowers. Unfortunately, it didn't make it. Thank you TSA. 😞 After all the planning and calls by the customer and her having to stand there and watch what you did...repeatedly. I do hope you refund her. (at Tiffany's Cakery)

So 2017 is my year to S I M P L I F Y !Simplification is perfect for those dealing with an attention deficit ( my son and I). To simplify cleaning and free up a drawer of kitchen towels that was always empty or overflowing and couldn't close, I have put a large bowl of barmops on the counter with my dish washing materials and have relegated all my sad old towels to car washing detail. No more searching in the laundry for a towel, looking under piles of dishes for the scrub brush or sponge or unable to find the sink strainer thingy. I have started my great purge of stuff...wow, there is a lot of stuff in this house - corners, counters, cabinets, closets, drawers, under beds, in pieces of furniture, etc.

My fun purchase at the Lego store today. I see a giant candy filled chocolate Lego minifigure from the Easter bunny in someone's future!! (at Concord Mills)

When you just have too many tart pans that you'll never use but really like, keep a few and toss the rest. Using these few as desk organizers. Love the 2 I am using to hold binder clips! Finished the mask! And forgot to take pictures other than this. My little boy finally got to celebrate his 10th birthday with friends yesterday at the arcade with a lightsaber/Star Wars themed party. He got his chocolate Kylo Ren mask that he and his friends got to smash with a little mallet and gobble up all the chocolate.

Just like last years chocolate mask. Laying the thinnest layer of fondant on Kylo Ren's chocolate head. He will get a little highlighter paint if I have time. If not, oh well, my son will love it anyway. (at Tiffany's Cakery)
