Now that he's dead, I can show this off here-
The tiny tyrant of District-0, Count Ichor the Crimson Scythe. He, along with his siblings Togorny Sickle, Emise Dagger and Skewer, were all failed clones of the Tiefling goddess Volil. After being disposed of by their creator, the four used their unique abilities to take over a settlement known as the Stainless City and turn it into District-0. Count Ichor used his magical connection to the local ore, Blackironstone, to raise hundred foot tall, fifty foot thick walls to secure their prize from would-be liberators.
Really fun design to come up with. The player that made him in game said I drew him like Jack Black, so I had to do a Jack Black impression as this villain's character voice.
Shaving cream or whip cream?
Cream of the crop.
A couple pieces of art for the d&d game I'm currently running. Having tons of fun and the party just encountered these two last session so I can actually post these.
The first is Skewer, the enforcer of District-0. More beast than Tiefling, Skewer is a genetically modified 8+ ft tall monster that does the bidding of his lord and brother, Count Ichor. Tons of fun designing the armor for this guy. Was going for a kinda survival-horror monster vibe like Resident Evil's Nemesis or Silent Hill's Pyramid Head, a large intimidating man-shaped beast that pursues the party through the city.
The second image is the Anguilan Broodmother. Loosely based on the Anguiliians from 2e & 3e. This massive slugworm births swarms of leechlike spawn from the holes on her back. She sleeps near her favored prize, a temple to the water goddess at the bottom of a lake. A pair of my players decided to trudge the lakebed after our Dwarf Paladin dropped his favorite warhammer in the lake. This is what they found and had to deal with, and in doing so gained the favor of and gifts from the goddess of running water in my setting, Ma'Una.
