glancing towards the other for the first time after sitting there, the male could only shrug as he listened to the guy’s words. in fact, he wasn’t wrong and usually he was all in for that part of the day but considering his bad morning, the fact that he missed out on two of his class with one he truly needed to attend because of an essay he needed to give back … he only wanted for the day to be over already. his next class would start soon and while he was debating wether to attend or not … he decided to come here to try and relax at least a little. his dorm was too noisy.
“ i usually don’t … hate them either, per say, but today is probably an exception. normally, my only classes of the day ended now … but since i went to neither, i’m supposed to have a lecture with my professor in an hour or so to talk about my … future, or something of the sort. not really how i was thinking about spending my friday, if you know what i mean. “
he sighed loudly, thinking about trying to use his charms on his professor to get a free pass but seeing the mood he was in … it’s not like he was that good of an actor anyway, his fake smile would give him away.
truth be told, cody’s classes weren’t finished either, the male had one more evening class but it was extremely rare that he ever attended. who has the time and effort to sit through a tedious lecture at 5pm on a friday? not him, so he wasn’t planning on going this time either, the male’s afternoon plans were to complete this paper and sleep. “oh shit,” the red head began, brows raising in both shock and sympathy. “good luck with that, they’ve tried to get me to attend so many meetings about my future and i just...” mentioning the word future made the male shudder, sure he knows what he wants to do later in life but thinking about life after graduating was incredibly frightening, mainly because he wasn’t sure how his parents would react to the route he wanted to go down. he knew that they wanted him to follow their lawyer footsteps but would they still support him financially if he admitted he didn’t want to? “basically, that’s a conversation i’m not ready for yet.” he continued. “at least not before i talk to my parents anyway.” cody nodded and laughed in agreement, “yeah, that’s pretty heavy stuff for a friday afternoon. so, what’re you gonna do, man? you could always skip, i guess?”
