A very loving yet soft smile takes over his lips as he watches Saturn lace their fingers and press his lips over his skin, the warmth of his mouth rushes through his whole body, there was a time in which he only had his memories of such action and never thought he would experience it again. It is definitely infinite times better than he remembered it. “ On second thought, you can’t really accuse me of being that corny when you keep saying such sweet things like that. But thank you. I know you’re only doing it so that i don’t worry too much for you, and i appreciate it. ” Phillip knows he worries too much for his husband’s wellbeing, ( his whole family’s, as a matter of fact ), but he can’t help it, the meaning of his life is literally to look after those he loves and with so much time to make up for, he just wants to make that his family receives only the best cares and attentions, and he will trust no one but himself to make sure that it happens. But that thought is soon swept out of his mind when such question reaches his ears, a little silly that his heart went on a frenzy and his cheeks turned bright red when there’s already a ring around his finger, but Phillip can’t help but feel that way. “ Yes! Yes, i would love to. ” he chirps perhaps a little too eager when he remembers how to speak, but he knows his ( already ) husband won’t mind.
every time phillip is within his space, saturn has this incredible, powerful urge to hold him. to bury him close in his embrace and lock him inside the wounds of his arms, bodies knitted so closely together that no universe can ever possibly pull them apart. not this time around. his mouth latches on to the curve of his neck as a hum breathes out of his throat. ❛ it’s because you’re rubbing off on me, ❜ saturn muses. ❛ you know i’m not usually this cheesy. you affect me far greater than you know, my love, even though i may not seem so easily flustered. but please do keep on blushing. i find it very adorable and rather endearing. ❜ saturn’s teasing him again, but he means every word. phillip is most beautiful creature to ever come into existence --------- his heart, his kindness, his strength are the most admirable traits saturn has ever encountered. he would gladly give up science, medicine, his titles to remain in this moment for the rest of his life, loving his husband forever. his hand reaches up to cup phillip on the cheek, a gentle smile reaching the crescent of his lips. ❛ good, ❜ he whispers. ❛ i’ll arrange everything again. we can get married in the gardens, anywhere you want. as long as you’re happy. ❜ his smile turns into one of amusement. ❛ atlas and maggie will have to fight for best man. ❜
