Bestieeee what's your process when it comes to making an oc ? Do you follow character templates or are you more into just winging it ?

feels like it answers half the question when i ask what’s a character template ? typically when i make an oc , i’m inspired by Something ( examples include doing a paint by number ( sky ) , playing a video game ( alex & antonio ) , shopping at a Very Specific Bookstore ( jasper ) , ) . these inspirations lead to Incredible bouts of daydreaming & Sometimes doing research to make sure they can be Lore Accurate , but it is mostly just winging it 🙂‍↕️
