I'm male.
I recently told my bf about my haircutting/shaving fantasy and I was wondering if you had any tips on doing it, in stages maybe, over time, since it's not something you can do often? I also worry he wont find me as attractive with shorter or buzzed hair..
Firstly, well done for being brave enough to tell him! It can be quite difficult to share a kink like this with your partner.
Unfortunately my answer might be a bit annoying, but the truth is that it's different for everyone. For some people going gradually shorter works, for others the thrill comes from more immediate and drastic changes. What I will say is that going shorter a little bit at a time would make it easier to grow it back out if you later decide that you actually prefer having longer hair. Other than that, it's hard to give specific tips.
If you're worried about what your boyfriend will think, it's always best to discuss it with him. Maybe he wouldn't want you to get a buzzcut but would be fine with you cutting it shorter than you have it right now. Maybe he wouldn't want you to chop it all off at once but would be onboard with a gradual change. On the other hand he might be enthusiastic about it and want to be actively involved! You won't know until you ask.
A small, teasing snip shears the first strands of her long mane.
Long hair getting spritzed in preparation for a nice, big chop.
The chair makes a good marker for how much hair is going to be chopped.
It's her first time in a barbershop, and she hasn't quite understood what the barberette meant when she said, "Pick a number between 1 and 8."
Home haircut day, and her husband is determined to make her try something a little (or a lot) shorter.
This is the last time she hides behind her hair before it all goes cascading down the front of the cape.
A decent start, but that pile of hair beneath the chair still needs to be a lot bigger.
She doesn't know what haircut she's going to get, but when the clippers go down her centre-part, the curtains will fall away and she'll be able to see again.
If you want to make it as a ballerina, we're going to have to do something about that hair.
Sometimes hair looks better when it's shorter and tidier, as she's about to find out. Long overdue a good tidy up.
She's hesitant to get in the chair, and for good reason - the new hairdresser has a reputation when it comes to super long hair...
Her teacher is standing off-camera with a pair of scissors. Maybe the threat of a haircut will make her study harder.
No, no, no, it's going to be a lot shorter than that.
Chin down. Your head's about to feel a lot lighter.
Hair goal reached, it's touching the floor. Time to take it all off and start from the beginning again.
