From a nightmarish set such as Eldritch Moon, it was easy for this one card stand above all others. Even Maria of MtA Cast, a connoisseur of cute, fell victim to the unanimous winner’s appeal. How could anyone resist? While feeling the twisted influence of Emrakul, this little furball won’t let that hinder it’s cuteness. The kitten, which I’ll dub Spooky, doesn’t mind his new home with his new friend, Graf Rat.

I forsee the creation of this card going something like this.

“Market research shows that the cat lovers of the internet are few and far between in terms of magic players.” “So we need a cat card to make them want to play magic?”

“Yeah but throw an eldrazi element on it so our regular fans wont get upset”

“And make it a junk rare so cat lovers will buy plenty of packs hunting for it, but it wont be playable in high level tournaments.”

“Ok, the card is made…will there be a cute cat creature with a downside in the set?”

“Not a chance.”
