In LA, just do you. I have never seen a father and son be so playful together as they do. They were both really in their own world and they played without worrying what people might think. This was a very special moment for me.

LA los Angelitos

LA really is a big city with all these different communities. These communities are all different worlds. The vibe is so different in every one; from the Koreans to the Latinos in Korea town, to the many homeless and rich kids in Downtown. The strangest bit is that they all live together, so you can feel each vibe but there is no set border. Walking in the city the vibe changes every few minutes. I felt very excited and at home in this city.

LA Tough Streets

What pained me in LA was the homeless problem. There are so many people living on the streets. Not only that but many of them with very visible mental health problems. From a woman lying on the pavement, screaming and squirming in the hottest hour of the day to a man openly defecating on a doorstep of an apartment building for all of us to see. If there was one thing I could wish for this city, it would be to give these people the help they need.
