Bell and TELUS' Samsung Galaxy S5 Currently Receiving Android Marshmallow | Android Marshmallow

The day most BlackBerry Priv owners have been waiting for has arrived; Canadian carriers have started to roll out Android Marshmallow to Priv devices on their networks. Android Marshmallow is the latest platform version from Google. Though Android N is on the horizon, that doesn't mean Android 6.0 Marshmallow is on its way out. You will not receive OTA updates if you previously manually flashed Android Marshmallow on to that device - you'll get a notification that verification has failed. It's even more compelling now that it's next in line for Android Marshmallow after going through a lengthy beta test The Droid Turbo 2 is also on track for Marshmallow after an earlier misfire.

The build version of Android Marshmallow update is 24.14.12. According to the T-Mobile support page, the update will bring your device's software version up to D85130d and come with a bump up to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The headline features in Android 6 are of course Google's contextually aware Now on Tap Lenovo has rolled out the Android Marshmallow update for the Lenovo Vibe P1 smartphone.
