      “Mister LeBeau is far more than a criminal and I’d appreciate if you didn’t bring his past mistakes up simply to mock the purity of their union.” A statement not entirely true - in fact, Rhodey even agreed with the ‘criminal mutant’ definition - but they’d use that to insult Tony over his dead body. “Whatever choices Tony makes are his alone and are not for you or I or anyone else to call good or bad. They’re simply his and if those choices make him happy, no matter the media scandal, I’m happy for him. He is, as you so delicately put it, my BFF of twenty years and my loyalty will remain with him ‘til the end of the line. Thank you.”
