“No, no, I’m fine, it’s just—” Trixie began to tear up again. “BTS is going on a hiatus after they do a show in LA and it’ll be the last time I’ll see them for a while and I’m so proud of them and I love them but I’m going to miss every comeback and every VLive and just them doing things together as a seven-piece and it kinda hurts,” She rambled to the barista in front of her who handed her a muffin with a bewildered look. “Thank you, and um,” she turned around. “Sorry for holding up the line, just y’know bad day and all.”

“I thought that was just because we were getting older?” He shrugged it off before putting his attention back on her. “Yeah! Yeah! That’s what I meant. BTS. Are we going to see your favorite band around your birthday? I would be the absolute worst best friend if I said no. Of COURSE WE ARE TRIXIE! It’s like you don’t know me at all.” Besides, there was really no way he could say no to her.

“Older?! Speak for yourself! I still feel pretty young, if I do say so myself,” Trixie playfully huffed. “Yes we are! They’re gonna be here the weekend before! July 8th-10th! Can you believe it?!” She squealed excitedly. “YAAAYYYY! Oh my sparkles, it’s going to be so so so much fun! I have to teach you the fan chants and and—we gotta get you a light stick.” She could feel herself practically bursting in excitement, the feeling so overwhelming that she went to hug Mike tightly. “Thank you thank you thank you thank you!”

“I’ve never had that happen!” Of course, he’d never eaten two meals in a row. “Sounds good to me. I’m always down for free-to-me margaritas.” Mike couldn’t help but grin at her excitement. “Let me guess…Big Time Rush?”

“Trust me, you can and it can be some pretty gnarly heartburn if you’re not careful,” Trixie warned with a knowing look. “Of course you are, who could say no to free margs?” She wiggled her eyebrows. “No silly!” She playfully nudged Mike. “BTS!! They’re coming over the summer, we’re going, right?! Please say yes, please say yes!” She pouted cutely, fluttering her wings at him in anticipatory excitement.

“I would eat again, obviously,” he grinned. Maybe not a lot, but Trixie was his best friend. He wasn’t going to turn down the chance to hang out with her. “Oh! Let’s to Santiago’s. Nachos sound so fucking good right now.”

“Yeah but you don’t want to get a stomachache either,” Trixie nudged Mike with a knowing look. “Yesssss! We can get the giant platter so we can share? Margaritas on me?” She smiled excitedly. “Oh oh oh! And I do have a concert pitch because y’know...a certain band is coming back to the States...”

Perrie groaned, quickly trying to cover her head with her comforter as Trixie yanked open her curtains. “Trixie, some people like to sleep in!’ Perrie whined to her twin. “Why are you getting me up before 10am?’ She asked, half uncovering her face.

Trixie flitted excitedly, her wings practically popping out in excitement. “Perrie come oooooon! It’s a beautiful day, the sun is shiningggg and you promised we’d go out exploring!” She went over to the other blonde, laying on top of her. “If you check the clock right now, it’s 10am, on the nose. Sooo—I’m right on schedule.”

Coffee was what would motivate her, or at least she hoped it would. However going on a coffee run meant everyone at the office wanted one too. With a large order she knew the customers in line wouldn’t be too happy. Turning to look behind her she offered a sorrowful expression. “I’m so sorry for the wait! I can pay for you order in exchange for the time you had to wait.”

Trixie rocked back and forth on her heels in the line as she scanned the new coffee menu. Lucky for her, the person in front of her had—a pretty large order and Trixie had zero clue what she wanted yet. When the brunette turned to her, the blonde shook her head, “It’s okay, really! I still have no idea what I want yet with the new flavors they got for the iced coffees. I promise, I could wait here!”

Hearing a familiar voice, Mike’s gaze darted around unsure of what direction Trixie was approaching from. “Trixie…that’s a ridiculous question. Of course, I wanna grab some food.” He flashed a grin in her direction. “What sounds good? Cause I’m thinking…everything.”

Trixie almost wanted to laugh watching Mike’s bewildered expression, but she smiled, her wings happily flitting in the sunlight. “Hey, you never know, what if you had already eaten, hmmm?” She teased. “Ooh—well as much as we could eat everything, we shouldn’t. Oh! What about Santiago’s? Or do we want a quick bite from The Teacup?”

“Hey Trixie!” Kim waved at her before smiling at her as she came over, “Of course. Is everything okay?”

“Oh! Jingles! Of course!” Trixie giggled. “I just wanted to ask you about the recent case you were on because I remembered it was pretty hard on you and all that, y’know catch up, see how you’re doing?”

“Hey! KP!” Trixie waved down the redhead from across the way, practically leaping over to her. “Hey, sorry, I whew, can I ask you a quick question?”

“Mike!” Trixie caught up with the man, rather than running, she flitted her wings over towards him, landing right in front of him with a big smile. “Hi. Did you wanna go grab some food?”

“Gooood morning sunshine!” Trixie practically burst into her sister’s room, flitting excitedly throughout the room as she went to open the curtains. “Up Up Up!” She squealed excitedly. “Come ooon!” She sighed, going over to bounce on her twins bed.

Trixie wandered into Minnie’s Antique Shop, her eyes once again widening in awe at the sight of the antiques. If there was one thing that often caught her eye, it was the amount of stuff that was dated years and years back that had its own history behind it. It always fascinated her. Re-focusing on where she was going she practically skipped her way through, her blue eyes searching around for a familiar brunette. “Minnie, where are you?!” She called out.
